Hello, beautiful community.
I want to hear your stories today. Think back to a season when you felt so alive, so in love with a person or a project or a calling, that food was an afterthought. Colors brighter. Time flying. My food, said Jesus, is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. John 4:34 Even Jesus described the purpose as food. So tell me two things. What was that season for you? And what is one small thing that still feeds your soul like that today?

Good evening, friends.
I have a confession. For years my comfort at the end of a long day was the pantry and my phone. Not because I was hungry, but because I did not want to feel the quiet. Jesus offers something so much better. I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry. John 6:35 So here is my question for us today. What do you usually reach for when the day gets quiet? And what do you think your heart is really asking for in that moment? I will go first in the comments.

Okay, I will go first, just like I promised. Honestly, quiet does not come to me on its own anymore. Life is full with so many projects right now. So I create the quiet myself, every single morning and every night before bed. I take my Bible, I read, I take notes, I go through Bible studies. Some days it is thirty minutes. Some days it pulls me in so deeply that two hours pass before I look up. And that is what my heart is really asking for in those moments. Not the pantry, not the phone. Time with Him. Your turn, friends.
I Have Been Working on Something for You
I have been quietly working on something for a while now and I am finally ready to share it with you. On July 21 we are starting the 7 Day Stress Reset together, right here in this community. I want to tell you why this one matters so much to me. Over the years, so many women have said some version of the same thing to me. I am doing everything right and I still feel exhausted. I sleep and I wake up tired. My body does not feel like mine anymore. And underneath all of it there is usually a quieter question that takes a while to say out loud. What am I doing wrong? I have carried that question myself. And what I have learned is that the answer is almost never what we think it is. Your body is not working against you. It has simply been carrying more than it was ever designed to carry, for longer than it was meant to carry it. And it has been trying to tell you. So for seven days I want to walk through it with you, gently. One teaching each day. One small thing to try. One truth from Scripture to sit with. We will look at cortisol and what it is actually doing to your energy. Why your adrenals get depleted. How to calm your nervous system in just a few minutes. Why sleep matters more than almost anything else. What to eat when your body is under stress. And how breath, movement, and the peace that Scripture promises all fit together. Nothing complicated. Nothing overwhelming. And if you miss a day, you have not failed anything. Everything will stay right here waiting for you. I also want to be honest with you about something. These seven days are the beginning of a longer work. Afterward, I will be opening a full course inside the classroom on stress and cortisol, everything I have learned, taught properly and step by step. But I did not build this challenge to lead you somewhere. I built it because I wanted to give you something real, and because I think these seven days matter on their own. He came that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10

I Have Been Working on Something for You
6th coffee hour happened today and someone showed up and it made my whole morning. πŸ€—β˜•
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the person who joined today. Your time is precious and I do not take that lightly. Our conversation was short but it was real and that is exactly what this space is about. One person showing up is not a small thing. It is everything. This is how community grows. One genuine connection at a time. πŸ™ If you have been thinking about joining, here are the next coffee hours coming up: July 18th July 25th August 1st You can always check our community calendar for the most up to date schedule. If anything changes on my end I will take it off the calendar right away so you always know what to expect. In person in Northbrook, Illinois or on Zoom from anywhere in the world. You are always welcome. β˜•πŸŒΏ Which of these upcoming dates could actually work for you? Drop it in the comments and let me know. I would love to see you there! πŸ’›

I have been thinking about something this week and I want to hear your perspective.
There are four areas that I believe truly nourish us at the deepest level: our relationships, our physical movement and vitality, our sense of purpose or calling, and our spiritual life. And every single time I have noticed myself reaching for things that do not satisfy, it has been because one of those four areas was running very low. John 6:35 says: β€œI am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” That verse has always spoken to me about a completeness that physical things alone can never provide. Which of those four areas is most depleted for you right now? And what do you think it would take to begin nourishing it again?
