I have been running my Shopping campaign for 2 months plus now, first on max clicks, and since 2 weeks on max conversion value. But the ROAs is very inconsistent, and overall unprofitable. Steps I have taken so far: 1. Optimised the website, made the CTA button – which was initially small – larger, added reviews to each product, and added more high-quality product photos 2. Added more products to the campaign; I started with 20 products and have added 30 new ones over the past few days. 3. I tried to optimise the feed; initially, I had listed all sizes for each product individually in the campaign, but now I’m using custom labels, so I only have one active listing per product (variant) in the campaign to prevent the budget from being spread too thinly. I’ve also improved the photos for the listings and tested things like different titles. 4. I’ve tested prices, ranging from high to low, with a 50 per cent discount. But that doesn’t always seem to go down well. 5. I’ve added women’s products to the website and the feed. 6. And SEO – my background is in SEO, so I’m working on that for the website too, and I’m noticing organic sales more regularly, but it isn’t really improving the results of the campaign itself that much. Just for your information. I run a branded fashion dropshipping store; product photos feature our own neck labels and high-quality model shots. We aim for a look and feel similar to Hugo Boss or Massimo Dutti, and I’d say our store currently resembles them, if I may say so myself (my previous experience was at a web agency, so fortunately I have that advantage). It’s mainly men, but increasingly women too. And it’s entirely focused on the Dutch market; the website has also been translated for that purpose. What are other things I can try, or steps I must take so that I can start to gain more consistent ROAs, and can scale?
