What roadblocks did you hit this week?
Did you get stuck on something this week? Did you try something new this week? Did you get some bad news, or fire someone this week? Did you make as much revenue or profit as you planned? Did you get interrupted too many times during the day and feel like you got nothing done? Did employees cause any new problems? Was it hard to get inventory? Did too many people call out sick? Look back at your week and post your roadblocks here

My daughter’s fall break just passed and we took a 10 day trip out of state. Total disconnect, relaxation. Did my mind pretty good, my body pretty good, but getting started again into the grind??? Whoa, I didn’t realize the momentum I had built in order to get the work done in order to go on vacation. Now, it’s tough to get back into that mode. I guess a TOTAL disconnect wasn’t a great idea.

My name is Jeremy Miller and I own a low voltage electrical company here in Arizona. I’ve done residential and commercial audio/video/control for over 20 years. About a year ago, I qualified to be a registered alarm company and am looking to grow the alarm monitoring side of my business. I’m looking to add 30 alarm customers by the end of the year.

I’m here to learn from other like-minded people who know the grind and actually have some worthy input. As discussed in another thread, the inexperienced have lots of ideas, people down the road have lived this phase already.

I should have hired just one guy and worked side by side with him until he understood everything enough to let him take over while I grew things.
