Day 4, Don’t Take on Too Much
A full-body movement session today with a simple reminder: don’t overload this season. If you’ve taken on too much, you haven’t failed. Just pare it down. Focus on one thing that’s draining your energy. Give it your attention. Then move forward, steady and clear.

Moving, smiling. laughing, great way to start the day.
Day 2, Stretch and Replace
A short stretching and balancing session today as we continue this 40-day journey. If you’re taking on new practices, think in terms of replacement. Don’t just remove what depletes you. Replace it with something that nourishes you. Small shifts, done consistently, change everything.

Denny, I just finished Mountains Beyond Mountains by Tracy Kidder. The story of Dr. Paul Farmer. I had previously read his Rough Sleepers, the story of Dr. Jim O'Connell's mission to create a medical program for Boston's homeless community. Both are outstanding and inspiring. If you like mysteries, I'm reading Tim Sullivan's DS George Cross series.
Start the Week Strong
Today we build strength and start the week with intention. A bench, a chair, a small moment in your day can all become opportunities to move. Keep showing up, stay active, and remember that steady strength built now carries us well into our later years.

Late to the party, 63 degrees in Chicago land, had to get out and get a long walk in.
Finding Awe in Simple Movement
Today we move in familiar ways, bending, twisting, stretching, and reaching. Nothing new on the surface, but an invitation to notice the awe in the small, everyday movements. A gentle reminder to appreciate the quiet beauty of a body that can move and feel.

Full-Body Band Workout, Short and Challenging
A quick full-body band session today with a short warm-up followed by a focused, challenging effort. A few solid rounds of push-ups and squats to wake up strength, raise the heart rate, and remind the body it can still work hard when asked.
