The Book That Changed My Relationship With Money
For years I had money shame. Making money felt wrong. Like I was taking from others. Then I read "The Psychology of Money" by Morgan Housel. Key lesson: Money is a tool. It's not good or bad. It's what you do with it. Now I see money differently: - Revenue = value created - Profit = sustainability - Savings = freedom - Giving = impact Money shame was holding me back. Letting go of it was freedom. How do you see money?

Howโ€™s everyone doing right now?
What are you working on? Whatโ€™s moving? Whatโ€™s stuck? Be real for a secondโ€ฆ Are you actually building somethingโ€ฆor just thinking about building? No judgment. Just awareness. This game rewards action. Not ideas. Not planning forever. Small moves daily > big plans never executed. So letโ€™s check in: โ†’ What are you focused on this week? โ†’ Whatโ€™s one thing you NEED to get done today? โ†’ Where are you slipping? Letโ€™s push each other a bit ๐Ÿ‘‡

Need support
I'm getting an opportunity to participate in The Blox, which is a pitch bootcamp that will help me to go further with my small business and perhaps even help me fulfill my dream of relocating and opening a brick and mortar. I created a Skool community and haven't had one paid membership. I must pay a fee for the Blox experience, which I intend and have already posted that I am sharing with others. I have the hardest time asking for support, but I guess it's time to put my ego and pride aside and ask for help. I need to pay for this opportunity and am prepared to add massive value in exchange...but I'm trying to fund my projects and life, while taking care of my 80. year old mom. Any assistance in growing my community, commissions, sales, etc are appreciated. I am a Business Builder with a brand that is growing, I'm asking for help because it's the hardest thing for me to do. So I humbly ask of my new community, for help in reaching the goal of raising $4200 for my participation fee win this opportunity. I'm not asking for a hand out. I'm a professional who needs to grow fast before the opportunity slips away. Thank you! Sharmaine

This is how I nearly doubled my Q1 revenue, while working less hours ๐Ÿ’ฐ
Q1 is officially in the books and now it's time to hand over all the admin stuff to my accountant to fill in my tax forms. As I was comparing my landscaping business revenue for Q1 in 2026 to that of Q1 in 2025 some things stood out immediately. 1. I have nearly doubled my revenue (20K -> 35K). 2. While working way less hours in my landscaping business, because I've been more focused on building my community over the winter. 3. The number of outgoing invoices was practically the same (24 -> 25). So I didn't do a higher volume of jobs. The jobs I did became more valuable. I added a screenshot from my CRM tool so you know I'm not making this up haha! Since the big focus during Q1 was on building my community, I had to protect my time better than ever before. โŒ I stopped saying "Yes" to any job that would bring in cash. โŒ I stopped overcommitting myself. Working 60+ hours a week doing the work and having to do all the admin stuff in the early morning, using time I want to spend building my community. โŒ I stopped committing to jobs that didn't excite me. โŒ I stopped undervaluing myself and my services. โœ… I became more intentional about which jobs I accepted. I said "No" to any jobs that weren't high leverage. โœ… I only accepted jobs that I felt excited about. I would much rather stay home and work on building my Skool than doing landscaping work that didn't excite me. โœ… I worked less "IN the business" and more "ON the business". Staying home more often meant that I finished price quotes a lot quicker and so I closed more deals. โœ… I raised my prices and profit margins. I know my worth and the value I bring and if someone doesn't want to pay that, that's totally fine. It leaves more time for the clients that do appreciate my value, and I get to do an even better job because I'm not time - restricted I hope this helps and shows you that scaling your business isn't about working more hours!
