I followed the lead of Jason and entered my poem in a contest, they want to publish my poem that I shared with you all!

Hiding in the shadows from their laughter of malevolent cackles, The judging smirk that makes their eyes gleam of yellow and red like the fire in her soul, The smell of her blood filled with adrenaline and fear, engulfs all their senses. Let the hunt begin!!! These creatures hunt for the queen of sorrow, cold as ice, her heart freezes. Bellowing screams of the sirens call, Challenge for the soul of this girl has begun. With pure intention, can her heart of freeze melt, welcome white knight. No distractions will keep her down, her nightmares won't win. Fighting the crippling freeze running in her veins, she begins to run. Finding her strength amongst the roaring dark clouds and clanking hooves and chains above. Chaos rises. Her laughter shrill and thunderous, Her ear-splitting scream is heard. She is awakened by embers and ice. Ruling her kingdom with beauty and grace. From the darkest of dark and the lightest of light, Behold your queen with the eyes of the Beast.
