Mindful Moment For Today!
Being angry is easy. Being jealous is easy. Being reactive is easy. Being resentful is easy. But they are so hard on your body and nervous system. Those emotions are automatic. They’re reflexes of the nervous system trying to protect you. Anger rises fast when a boundary feels crossed. Jealousy appears when insecurity or fear of loss is activated. None of that makes you weak. It makes you human. But the work… is choosing the other direction. The work is: • Pausing instead of reacting • Getting curious instead of defensive • Regulating your body before speaking • Taking responsibility for what the emotion is pointing to Growth isn’t about never feeling anger or jealousy. It’s about not letting those emotions drive the wheel. Because when you move in the other direction, you gain: • Clarity instead of chaos • Self-respect instead of regret • Power instead of reactivity • Emotional safety in your relationships The question isn’t “Why do I feel this?” It’s “What is this feeling asking me to look at within myself?” That’s where maturity lives. That’s where peace is built. 💭 Reflection for today: When was the last time you chose regulation over reaction, and what changed because of it?

Feels great not to have any regrets of saying something hurtful out of anger or allowing someone to get you out of character. Keeping your power and your peace 💕
Love ❤️
As I prepare for a soon engagement and wedding within the next year with my partner, I’ve noticed my nervous system having moments of freaking out. Big, beautiful transitions can still feel unfamiliar to the body, even when the heart is aligned. Watching these videos, reminding myself what healthy love looks like, and normalizing these sensations instead of judging them has helped tremendously to regulate my nervous system. I wanted to share this with you ladies because sometimes growth doesn’t feel calm at first, it feels activating. And that doesn’t mean anything is wrong. It just means your nervous system is learning something new. Gentle reminders, regulation, and compassion go a long way 🤍
