A personal update about Bakers Insider
After this first month, I’ve decided to move Bakers Insider to a free community with optional one-time purchases, instead of a monthly Premium membership. I started the membership as an experiment. I wanted to bring together the things I love—baking, creating, and helping bakers succeed—in a way that also supported my family. But this month has helped me recognize that the ongoing commitment is taking more from me than I have to give right now. I’ve shared before that I live with bipolar depression, although I don’t talk about it often. I’m in a difficult season, and I’ve been burning the candle at both ends. I need more room to care for myself and be present with my family, especially as a mom. I still love helping you. I just need to change how I do it. Here’s what that means for you: • The community, Recipe Index, and Grow Your Bakery will remain free. • Existing collections and kits will stay in the Classroom as optional one-time purchases. • I’ll continue sharing free recipes and adding to Grow Your Bakery as I’m able. • I’ll also continue creating new products for purchase. What I’m stepping away from is the commitment to deliver four to five new products every month. I have so many ideas I’m excited to explore, including things I believe could help you bring in more sales this holiday season. Some are already in progress. Others—like expanding the scoopable brownie concept—are ideas I want to give time to develop and test properly. I want to follow that excitement without turning every idea into a deadline. That might mean one new collection here and another there, rather than several releases every month. When something is ready, I’ll share what’s inside, and you can decide whether it fits your bakery. Current Premium members: I’ve sent you a personal message about stopping your subscriptions and keeping access to the existing Premium collections. Please check your messages and reply so I can confirm your transition. I hope to offer a membership again in the future, but I’m leaving that timeline open.

🍎 NEW FREE COURSE IN BAKER'S INSIDER! 🍎
Caramel Apple Magic: Sell the Experience, Not Just the Dessert! I've just added a brand-new FREE mini-course to the Classroom, and this one is a little different! Because we're not making recipes. We're creating OPPORTUNITIES! Here's the idea... What if you could take something as simple as caramel apple nachos and turn it into a beautifully packaged, ready-to-enjoy family experience? Think pumpkin carving nights, fall movie marathons, family traditions, and cozy evenings together. Now imagine selling a kit that takes all the shopping, chopping, crushing, and preparation off Mom's plate so she can actually ENJOY those moments with her family. THAT'S what we're creating! 🍏 WHO IS THIS FOR? - Home bakers looking for something different to offer their customers. - Farm stand owners wanting to increase sales with seasonal add-on products. - Bakers interested in partnering with local farms, pumpkin patches, or markets. - Anyone looking for creative ways to stand out without adding another complicated dessert to their menu. - 🍎 WHAT WILL YOU LEARN? Inside this six-lesson course, we're covering: ✔️ How to turn a simple dessert idea into a sellable experience. ✔️ What to include in your kits and how to structure them. ✔️ Packaging ideas and where to source supplies. ✔️ Creative flavor combinations that make your kits stand out. ✔️ How to MARKET the experience instead of just listing ingredients. ✔️ Simple, inexpensive extras like conversation starter cards, coloring pages, and family activities that can increase the perceived value of your kits. I'm even including copy-and-paste AI prompts to help you create some of those extras yourself! And here's what I really want you to understand... This isn't about everyone making identical caramel apple kits. It's about learning to recognize opportunities. Sometimes customers aren't paying you because they can't make something themselves. They're paying you because you've made it easier for them to enjoy something they already wanted to do.
