My 1st attempt with the machine on latex skins. . I’ve only ever used a Microblading tool. I have practiced some lines on my skins but it is very interesting and different using the machine. How long does it take you guys to do the actual procedure? Not the mapping, just the tattoo?

Get More Clients With Facebook Groups 👩‍💻
Hey friends, So, one of the artists in my Hyperrealism Brows Mastery Program (you can check it out here) asked me the other day: “How can I get more clients into my business without spending on ads?” It got me thinking, and I realised this is exactly what I did when I first started out. I didn’t have a big budget—actually, I had no budget at all 🙈—but I managed to build a thriving business anyway. The secret? Facebook groups. Back when I moved to Amsterdam, I didn’t know anyone. No friends, no family, no network. My studio was literally a tiny back room in a waxing salon. But I joined local Facebook groups like “Amsterdam Mamas” and others where women in my area were hanging out. And here’s the trick: I didn’t go in there spamming promos or shouting, “Book with me!” (No one likes that, right?) Instead, I joined conversations, offered advice, and just… got involved. Sometimes it was totally unrelated to PMU—like sharing my fave pram recommendation 👶—but it made people notice me. Before long, my name started popping up whenever someone asked for brow recommendations. Word spread, and one happy client turned into a steady stream—all without spending a single cent on ads. It worked for me then, and it still works now. And the best part? It’s free! 💸 (Well, except for the time you need to invest. But that’s another story.) Anyway, I made a quick video explaining exactly how you can do this too. It’s super simple, and honestly, it could change the game for your business. 🎥 You can watch the video here: Watch Now. If you give it a go, let me know how it works for you! I’d love to hear about your results. Kim 💕

This is helpful, thank you Kim! 🙏🏻

Just thought I would post yesterday’s high spine practice. Still need lots of repetition to get better and more comfortable but I’m going to move onto medium spine and then low and then cycle back through to perfect all patterns.

Which Pigment Do I Use?
One of the most common questions I get is, "What pigments do you use?" My go-to are generally hybrid pigments, which I love for their soft and natural fade over time. Warm tones are a must, as they prevent those fine, delicate strokes from turning too ashy. Though I have plenty of colors to choose from, I typically stick to a few key shades that suit most of my clients: a warm medium, warm dark, extra dark, and intense dark. For my blonde or redhead clients, I opt for lighter ORGANIC pigments as they hold up longer. Currently, I’m using the Amiea Evo 2 pigment range for my hybrid colors. I use the Monica Ivani. I do really like it but I get a lot of fading that happens before touch up. It was included in my kit from my Microblading trainer. I’ve been nervous to venture out bc I am still somewhat of a beginner and like that it is very forgiving. As I am gaining confidence though, I’m on the lookout for a really nice and easy to work with pigment that yields good results without having to do a lot of mixing.

@Kim Loy Good to get your validation on that! Yes! I’m going to work at saturating a lot more! I really want to see better healed results. I do believe the Nano, from what I’ve seen, yields better lasting and more precise and natural results though.
