Movement and Healing
I LOVE dance. When I've looked back at life, my biggest regret was not pursuing it. I've done tap, ballet, jazz, jive, ballroom and now I do salsa, bachata, kizomba and line dancing. Dance is my passion. So, I trained as a Zumba® Instructor last year, started in-person classes and whilst I did enjoy it, I did not enjoy having to pay for venues and wondering if I'd even break even. I have now set up a Skool community for live online classes (once a week with access to all recordings) charging $22 a month, and I plan to sell a high-ticket program inside the group. I don't know if I am doing this the best way. I messaged my previous students and none of them have signed up, so I need to start posting content to find clients who might be interested. My high ticket program is to help women "reclaim themselves", could be after abusive relationships, or just ones where they gave their all to their family and now have nothing to do with their time or feel miserable about their bodies and lives. The program is to help them with identifying where they lack boundaries, people please, understanding their patterns so they can change that, whilst also moving their bodies. So it's part mental and part physical. My issue is (and this has always been it) getting clients. But mostly, posting content that resonates and then having conversations. I've been going around in circles for years! 😵 Is content just trial and error or is there a magic formula? I have been working on a webinar too...I need to finish that, so I guess another question is what do I prioritise, the webinar or daily content to sell the $22 community?

Rich People VS Poor People
Rich people follow a series of simple actions everyday while poor people do not. Poor people follow a series of simple actions everyday while rich people do not. My point? There is a literal LIST of simple actions anyone can take to either become rich or poor, and you can read it. Want the list? Why do I find this so hard?
I was like Ted, a fruit eating, travel loving hippy, I worked in temporary accountancy jobs, saved all my money and went to the first Thai Fruit Festival 12 years ago. I bought a road bike, joined all the other fruit bats and was uploading content to YouTube and my blog. I made £98 in total from ad revenue. But then they changed the requirements that you needed 1k followers, I had around 600. I loved being in South East Asia, I didn't want to come home, and then I made a terrible mistake, when I ran out of money, my mum loaned me some to get home, but I was considering a working holiday visa to Australia instead, and I went back to the UK 😭 A decision I've regret! So anytime I meet anyone saying they never want to leave Bali or whatever country abroad, I tell them, don't go home! Anyway, this is a long post but hopefully you stick with me. I got into an abusive relationship and I'm now a single mother. I thought my niche would be single mum's or survivors of abuse, but I quickly pivoted because these women 1. don't have money for high ticket, 2. really need expert help before coming to my program. So some time has passed and I believe I have found my ideal clients. Yet, I am now afraid and scared to launch anything! Also, I just want to leave the UK already and go abroad and have a business that enables me to live out there without having to come back here, unless it's for a holiday. I have many skills and my background is in accountancy (not an accountant) and when I feel desperate I end up researching things like setting up my own bookkeeping business and do it abroad, as I would only need a laptop really, clients can scan their documents to me - or I pay a company to do that. I just wonder, how do I get out of this self defeating battle with fear? And realistically, how hard is it to get consistent coaching clients? I ran a beta so I have a couple of testimonials, but from what I've seen, you need to convince people to work with you, hence all the scripts being sold as part of business coaching!
My niche
My micro niche is helping women date again after abusive relationships. I know I need to make content, and I know I need to make connections. But sometimes I do worry that this niche might be difficult 😆🙈 Ultimately I'm doing this as this was me years ago. But I haven't found my soul mate yet. I'm concerned that a lot of my target audience aren't interested in this as the abuse was just too much for them to trust men again. I guess I'm looking for some encouragement and some wise words to keep me seeing the positives in my work!

@Sam Rathling thank you for these messages. Regarding content I meant more in regards to YouTube and being found there. But a good reminder for the community and how to view it. I like everything you've said 💕

@Rich Guy thank you for the encouragement 🙏🏼
Rare and valuable content
How do you interpret this for your niche? It's stuck in my mind, how do I create rare and valuable content? Do you think it's better to just post content you like to make, like vlogging about your day, with some wisdom sprinkled in, or do I need to make purely educational content that appeals to my niche? I'm a single mum, been in an abusive relationship, dated people making the same mistakes over and over, and now I want to help other women avoid my mistakes and or heal from the similar experiences they've had. So from a content creation perspective, what should I actually do?
