Ready to take your doula practice to the next level?
Hey doulas! I'm opening up a few discovery call spots this week for anyone who's feeling stuck in their practice right now. This call is for you if: - You want to build your own independent client base but feel overwhelmed about showing up online - You're ready to deepen your skills in prenatal support, nervous system literacy, and true advocacy - You want to build a practice that reflects your values AND pays your bills - You're done feeling like you're winging it or second-guessing yourself What we'll cover: - Where you're at now vs. where you want to be - What's actually blocking you from getting there - Whether working with me is the right fit (and I'll be honest if it's not) If this is you: book a free, low-pressure discovery call with me to explore what it would look like to take your practice to the next step: https://calendly.com/fruitingbody/introductory-call

Share Your Postpartum Visit Ideas
Is there anything special or unique you like to share at postpartum visits?? I'll go first! I always offer scalp massage. I think it's so regulating and nourishing for mama to receive this and hold baby on her chest. Almost all of my clients fall asleep to it. Who doesn't love their hair played with and their scalp touched lightly!!? Curious what else you all like to do

Oh just remembered that one of my doula bestie's takes a photo of the mama + baby with a polaroid so that it prints out in physical form for mama right there 🥰 I think my friend also does a polaroid pic of her big pregnant belly too! super cute

Posts That Make You FEEL vs. Posts That Fall Flat
Hey everyone! I want to follow up with my last post and show you the difference between posts that create CONNECTION and posts that just... exist. This feels important to clarify! When you use those templates I shared, the goal isn't to fill in the blanks with generic stuff. The goal is to make someone stop scrolling and think "oh my god, that's ME." Here are some examples: FALLS FLAT: "It's normal to be scared about birth" MORE SPECIFIC: "You're Googling 'how bad does labor actually hurt' at 2am and then closing the tab because you're not ready to know. I see you, mama. Let's talk about what you're really afraid of." FALLS FLAT: "Setting boundaries with family in postpartum is important" MORE SPECIFIC: "How to tell your mother-in-law she can't come meet the baby for the first 3 months (even when she's already bought a plane ticket)" FALLS FLAT: "You can have preferences for your birth" MORE SPECIFIC: "You're allowed to say no to cervical checks. Even when the nurse is standing there with gloves on. Even when everyone's waiting. Your body, your choice, full stop." FALLS FLAT: "Postpartum can be hard" MORE SPECIFIC: "Nobody told me I'd cry while eating a sandwich at 3am because I was too tired to even taste it" See how the more specific ones really make you FEEL, rather than feeling generic? Specificity is really the secret sauce to being relatable and feeling seen by clients. Always ask yourself: Can I make this MORE specific?? LMK if this feels helpful! and if you're interested in working closer with me, comment "ready" to get more info 💛 I loooove diving into this stuff deeper 1:1 and on my group doula calls.

10 Templates for Doulas Who Want to Show Up on Instagram
Stop wondering what to post. I did the work for you! Remember: the goal isn't to go viral. It's to share your voice. Your feed will become a page where future clients can scroll through to learn about your values and the way you work. A future client will one day scroll your feed and *feel* you before they ever meet you! And that's what builds trust. 10 Post Templates Here Try different formats (carousels, b-roll, talking heads) and see what feels good. And if you have any questions or if you use one of these this week, lmk in the comments! I want to see what you create!
