Watching Skool Games Realization... Thank You, Eric!
Been watching Alex Hormozi talk on the Skool Games Recording for Q1 (2026) going: @Eric Howell has been saying this for like the last 2 years. There have been way too many points within this recording that I can't bring them all up, but yeah... he's been saying this stuff for a while now. But here's the thing, what Alex and Eric are both saying requires some of the harder things.. Letting go of your ego. Just doing it and getting better as you go. I've seen people argue with Eric about lives, platforms, and ways to do things.. but those people arguing have not been right. They're not even successful with what they're saying... Actually it brings up something I have heard from both Sam and Kirby. It's easy for people to point out problems or find reasons to complain. It's harder yet WAY BETTER to be solution focused. That's something I've seen Eric do over and over again. Something changes with the algo or the way a platform works and he searches and finds a solution to get people's attention. It's actually what I see him doing here by having a Traffic Lounge where we can share what's working. It's all solution focused as a community, even when Eric is really intelligent in this area. So I just wanted to post this as a Thank You to Eric for all his generous sharing and say I really appreciate what you've been sharing over the years with us. Here's the recording if you haven't seen it yet:

@Chuck Ellis oh well I've seen that he is not right about that at all. I'm sure of that. But it makes sense based on the way he chose to go about TikTok. In his case and the way he did it, he is correct. TikTok is king still if people are willing to learn how to retain a fast moving audience. But it's okay not everyone needs to make the easy money from TikTok.

@Chuck Ellis Also, I'm time stamping this, because that's not even really what he was saying. Going Live is #1. The guys who go live the most and the longest make the most money and that's included on TikTok. I think it's important to clarify, because TikTok is such a powerhouse for traffic. I wouldn't want Alex's message to be misconstrued.

@Heidi Reagan the storms cut us off so this will be part 1 πŸ˜… Thursday we will catch the rest up
What's your hot take?
I've found the best way to grow a social following is to talk about something polarizing in your industry. Not "rage bait" but being contrarian. This makes people REALLY love you or the opposite 😬 But it actually gets you followers/members faster because you are saying the thing that they are too scared to say. And fair warning, the haters might come out in full force and boost the algorithm with their comments too. So what's your hot take in your niche/industry? Something that most people might disagree with but you believe it with your whole chest.

@Jennifer Maillet you might be surprised how you could tie it into what you do. Once you get more of those or you get someone to audit on why, then you can tie clips together

@Eric Howell you said say it with your whole chest, right?! I screenshot it as proof that I'm just following instructions lol
