Winter Solstice Energy
The longest night of the year has just happened… What are doing for the next 11 days? (Drop your answers below!) I will be focusing on a single intention Daily! I am writing down all on my intentions to keep track of! Thinking of what exactly it is that I want. Using balance and peace to bring these manifestations into my circumference! Then using action to bring them into my grasp. I am going to be adding the steps in the video below. Weekly I will also be doing this spiritual bath to help me settle into the shadow work, I will be doing. -Orange Peel - revitalized Energy -Rosemary - protection -Pine - self preservation -Sea Salt - Energy purification If you are interested in doing some shadow work prompts comment below!

Ancestral Veneration: Returning to the Root
Ibase Egungun, Ibase Baba, Ibase Yeye. We honor the ones who came before. We pour the cool water, we light the flame, we whisper names that live beyond the veil. Before there was religion, there was remembrance. Before there was prayer, there was the calling of names. Ancestral veneration is the oldest practice of our people, the foundation of every sacred path across the African Diaspora. From the shrines of Ifá to the candles in a Hoodoo kitchen, from the veves drawn in Haitian soil to the offerings of Lukumí altars, we all reach back to the same truth: we are the continuation of those who came before. Why We Venerate Our ancestors are not gone; they have transitioned into wisdom. They are the invisible hands guiding us through storms and silence alike. To venerate them is to build relationship, a bridge between the living and the realm of spirit. In Ifá, we call them Egungun, those who have become powerful in spirit. In Hoodoo, we keep them close, housed in photographs, pipes, and perfume bottles that still hold their scent. In Vodou, they are the Gede, laughing at death and teaching us to live fully. Through veneration, we remember who we are. Every prayer, every libation, every candle flame reawakens our lineage’s Asé, the living current of power that connects us to Creator and creation. Levels of Veneration There are four main ways we commune with our ancestors: Remembering: speaking their names, keeping their photos, telling their stories. Honoring: offering food, drink, flowers, or song in gratitude. Elevating: praying for those who were troubled, assisting their spirits to rise in peace. Invoking: calling on the elevated ones for guidance, protection, and clarity in our daily lives. Not everyone will do all these levels at once, and that’s okay. Begin where your heart feels steady. Relationship takes time: even across worlds. Daily Practice Each day, I greet my ancestors before I greet the world.I ]whisper my gratitude, and listen in the stillness. My altar holds a white cloth for purity, a bowl of water to cool and cleanse, a candle to illuminate their path, and offerings that remind them of home, coffee, tobacco, rum, or a small plate of food.

Ọbàtálá is the owner of every head on Earth, the sculptor who shaped humanity with divine intention. He is the calm, steady force who brought land into being, grounding creation itself so life could take form. On this holy day, Ọbàtálá reminds us to tend to our character, to walk gently, to choose wisdom over impulse, and to interact with others through clarity and compassion. He also teaches us why it is dangerous to mix sacred duty with intoxication, a story I’ll share soon, because its lesson is timeless. Ọbàtálá Òrìṣànlá, guide us today. Help us use our gifts with purpose, our wisdom with grace, and the strength of our hearts with integrity. May our minds remain cool. May our steps remain steady. May our character reflect the divine shaping of our Creator. Aṣẹ.

Temple of The Tides Updates
Alaafia everyone! We have some exciting news! We have some new faces in here as well! Welcome to Temple of the tides! Starting in January I will be going Live in our Skool space! I will cover an array of topics that are spiritually based. This will be part of the free program I am building. From time to time we will do a group ritual. I have a lot of information to share with you all. I want to go live and teach when you all can be present. Attached to this post is a poll. Please complete the poll. Once we choose the frequency for live classes, I will release the first round of what I will be covering. I will be releasing the Practitioner Mentorship interest form in January. I will be holding inter-teas with everyone who applies. The mentorship is a paid, and it comes with a mentorship kit. Filled with all the things you will need. I previously stated I would only open 3 spots, because, the folks who I mentor, want to align and possibly initiate. The House I belong to, is currently offering and preparing to have an Eleke Ceremony in Feb. The Eleke ceremony, is an introduction to the Orisa who walk with you. During the Ceremony a spiritual name is given and you start to learn about the destiny chosen and laid out for you; You would become my Godchild. This is not to be taken lightly. There are preliminary steps and things that must be completed to attend this ceremony. It does have a cost associated with it, and it is held in Atlanta Georgia by my Godmother, Rev. Priestess Osun Funke, Iyanifa. Serious inquiries only for the Eleke Ceremony. Send me an email, in the subject put “Eleke Ceremony” prieatessolaiya@yemayasinclinations.com New Year Yemoja Blessing This New Years Day, I will be going to coast and performing an ebo for Yemoja and Olokun. You are welcome to submit petitions and participate remotely. The cost for submitting a petition is $28. Thank you ! Lets start fresh!
Mentors, Leadership and the Divine
The success of a true spiritual teacher is never measured by titles, followers, or wealth; it is measured by how deeply their students are growing, healing, and standing firm in their own Ori. A teacher’s mission is not motivated by money, but by the divine assignment that God, the Orisa, and their ancestors placed upon their heart. The true teacher does not chase validation; they walk in obedience. A spiritual teacher is proactive, not reactive. They move by divine insight, not by rumor or emotion. They see the unseen, hear the unspoken, and protect the sacred space of their spiritual house. They are aware, both in the seen and unseen, of what stirs within their community. A teacher who truly walks with Ori understands that leadership is stewardship. They are not meant to create dependency, but to awaken remembrance. Their role is to guide, not to control. To protect, not to possess. Favoritism has no place in sacred leadership. A teacher led by ego chooses favorites; a teacher led by Ori chooses truth. When a teacher announces who they favor, they plant division where unity should grow. A true spiritual leader operates as a guardian, shielding their students from unwarranted attacks, both physical and spiritual. Growth comes through guidance, discipline, and divine timing. And when Spirit begins to whisper…when your spiritual team signals that it is time to move on…LISTEN. Honor that voice. A teacher who truly serves the divine will never block your evolution. A spiritual teacher’s greatness is reflected not in how many gather around them, but in how many rise and walk in their own light. May we all be guided by teachers who serve with integrity, and may we each honor our own Ori above all else. Excerpt from Priestess Omo Sule
