FAILED REHOMING
Failed rehoming post fostering. We need to remember Cattle dogs generally bond with only one person, and that one person is of their choosing. When bonded they take loyalty to a level above that you have ever known. In regard to protection, they have a level that many new people new to the breed have never seen and as a result label them as a rebellious and aggressive to even dangerous. I continue to work at laying the labels to rest through education in Cattle dog temperament.

My boy is loyal to me. We did agility together until one time he was labeled buy some supposed dog people he was dangerous... I took him to a behaviorist and she showed me ways to help him... Not any of these so called agility dog people... I just couldn't go back to trials I feel like no one gave him a chance and no one knew the least little bit about Cattle Dogs... We do frisbee, Dock Diving with him and he loves it... We left agility and the "think they are better" AKC people behind. We do practice just because he knows so much... There are some really good people also but mostly not... NADAC agility is best.
