The list is long! I'll say the most recent book I've rated really highly is Theo of Golden.
Today’s Skool takeaways
Every conversation I have with a Skool owner teaches me something. Today it was @Jen Sullivan… and @Claire Morgan later on. Jen and I were supposed to record a podcast episode for Female Finance Collective, but we ended up deep in a conversation about relaunching Money Made Simple. Then my coaching call with Claire echoed so many of the same ideas. I love days like this. We talked about what’s working on Skool right now: ✨ Getting clear on who you’re really building for ✨ Making your free community a true starting point ✨ Creating simple ways for people to engage right away ✨ Showing up consistently in a way that feels like you ✨ Building trust through real conversations, not perfect posts So many good ideas. So much alignment. Curious… what’s one thing you’re focusing on in your Skool community right now? We’re continuing this tomorrow in a Skool Q&A. Come join us and bring your questions.

Yes! Sometimes those impromptu conversations lead to the best ideas because we aren't showing up with an agenda or pre-thought answers. We're truly just thinking out loud and sharing ideas on the fly. So, so helpful!

Love all this! Will you be sharing a recording of the Skooly call? I have another call at the same time that I can't miss, but I am in Skooly and would love some more insight.
My Latest Effort to Gain Subscribers and Members
I set up some new things to drive members to my email list and community, so I thought I'd share here in case it sparks ideas for anyone else. I determined that anything spring-related is a top search right now, especially on Pinterest. So I created a lead magnet, Spring Clean Your Finances checklist, and started sharing. ➡️ I created a simple landing page via Kit and linked subscribers to a Google Doc where they can download the PDF. This is all free and pretty easy to set up. I will manually add subscribers to the Substack email list. ➡️ I publish a newsletter via Substack on Mondays, so I wrote it about spring cleaning and refreshing our finances, and linked the lead magnet there. ➡️ I created several pins for Pinterest linking to the landing page, the newsletter, the Skool community, and our podcast. I scheduled pins for the week. ➡️ I will put stories up on Instagram and link the landing page there, as well. It's the first time I've set anything up this way, so it definitely took me a bit to think through the process and what made sense, but it feels like a process I could easily duplicate, and adjust based on what I learn, in the future.

@Yvonne Green I'm not a pro at Substack, but happy to answer any questions.
Replay is live: Pinterest Expert Tim Adam
You’re in luck if you missed @Tim Adam's presentation today. The replay is ready and attached to this post. Tim actually started about five minutes before I began recording, but thankfully, I remembered to hit record when I did. 😱 I filled a full page of notes while listening (see the attached image). I highly recommend grabbing a notebook and doing the same. I’m already planning to start implementing what I learned. If you watch the replay, comment below with your biggest takeaway so we can learn from each other. Join me in Pinterest Skool, you won't regret it. Raise your hand 👋 if you are on (or getting on) Pinterest. It's Pinterest Party time!

Question: Do you recommend pins look "on brand" with similar fonts and colors or is it better to create a variety of looks and styles?
