TU 09 JUN 2026: Nice class Joe, just finished the replay. I thought the meet today was @ 1200. I was mowing the lawn at the time class met today. Still want to talk about my LR catalog ...
Summer school is in session
Hey friends. After a vacation I am back. Tomorrow we have our regular LRC hang out (First Tuesday or the month at 10:00 MT). And next week we have our Photoshop hang out (same time and place, just the second Tuesday of the month.) This will be the first hang out for several new members. See you all then. Oh, I'm also posting a couple live edits today to make up for the lack thereof while I was gone. Anyone want to schedule an evening hang out this week? I'm available Wednesday or Thursday.

TH 21 MAY 2026: OK ... what I just today discovered is that after removing all the drivers for my Brother MFC 7360N Printer/Scanner - I am now able to scan an image DIRECTLY from the Brother INTO either PS or LR using the native MS WIA driver. Once scanned, I have a full size image of the object which then is automatically imported into either LR or PS and may then entirely remove the background, leaving only the scanned image absent any remnants of the white background from the scanner and PS will then deposit the image into PS on its own layer to then do with it what ever is desired. And I am guessing that one may then choose to use TRANSFORM to make it a 3D image and spin, turn, flip or whatever is appropriate to the end result of what is trying to be created. Being able to scan directly into PS & LR and then remove the background significantly reduces the complexity
