When I took the Radio Ready Single intensive and learned the foundation first method. Completely allows for everything to sit right in the mix once done. 🤠

I started the Radio Ready Single Intensive a couple of months ago and realized I needed to correct my room if I wanted to get a professional sound. "Record Sound". So in the first week of the intensive, I got a wild hair up my ass and decided to take the advice of my Sales Engineer at Sweetwater and treat my room. He gave me advice and a couple of tutorials, which were some I had seen prior to him showing them to me. I went ahead with no real knowledge of what I was doing, nor did I think I would actually be able to do what I sought out to accomplish. I was told I needed bass traps on all four corners of my room, which is 11' x 11'. I had an acoustic study that Sweetwater actually provides a service for, which is done by a company out of Portugal, if I am not mistaken. They created a 3d render of what I needed to purchase and where to put them on my wall. Again, with the advice of my sales engineer, I proceeded to build them myself. I actually started them the very first week of the RRS Intensive, which set me back a week. I ended up scrambling to get my song ready and finished. All I had was a miter saw and 2 drills. Many, I mean MANY trips back and forth to Home Depot HAA!!! But I bought the wood, screws, "Muslin Cloth "to stretch over the frames. This is what I accomplished in a weeks time. The results have been amazing, and the time and effort I took to do it myself to save thousands was well worth it. If I can do it on my front porch with just a Miter saw, tape measure, electric staple gun, and a little thought, you can also.
