flood insurance by a property owner
How do u go about checking w a seller of a note near a canal that may be in a flood area, or flood insurance area? If you are still interested in the note and how much should u discount the note if in a flood zone?

@Scott Pollmann Thanks, Scott, that's fantastic information. Again. I'm a note broker, but eventually I would like to transition into a note buyer. I just kind of wanted to know how it works. I had a conversation with somebody, and they ran it past me about buying notes with other people's money. Do you know how that works in terms of using other people's money? Is it lenders, is it the bank's money? I'm assuming it might be one of the two or both what's your take on it.
