Japan Ski Trip + Fragrance testing + Bonus
🔥 Standouts: Liquid Brun (warm, addictive), Charuto Tobacco (perfect nights), Maison Asrar Vanguard (first compliment), Afnan Supremacy Not Only Intense & Incense (strong performers). 🔥 Surprise gem: Royal Blend Vintage — honey-cinnamon warmth, smooth and comforting. Layered with Burberry London = 🔥 (Christmas vibes done right). 👍 Easy picks: Montblanc Explorer, Issey Miyake, Versace Eros — always work. 🌙 Night favourites: D&G The One Parfum, Boss Bottled Parfum — rich and long-lasting. 🤔 Mixed: Khamrah (too synthetic later), Zimaya (fades fast). 💡 Lesson: Cold air enhances depth; sweet scents smooth out; layering shines. 🎁 Bonus: Finally got Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille (30ml, $200+ SGD). Haven’t tested yet — hope it’s worth it. Any recommendations for winter / spring perfume? I am flying to Vienna/Rome in April

“Perfumery is the mirror of society. I am the artist who interprets these emotions" --Alberto Morillas Perfumery, like all art, reflects a cultural, emotional and social landscape. The artist’s role is to act as a conduit, translating abstract emotions into a tangible, sensory experience. How hurried our lives have become to miss the incredible moments of life before us. These "snapshots in time" beg us to slow down and to #EnjoytheJourney One day at a time!

I agree. Spray Burberry London and go into Starbuck Cafe. Sit down, order a Cafe Latte and somehow, the scent of the perfume seems to make me even more relax, to slow down and just enjoy my coffee and the moment.
Mancera Red Tobacco (Sample Review)
From the first spray it comes in loud with saffron, cinnamon and incense, creating a fiery, spicy cloud that immediately fills the air. There’s also a sharp citrus edge from apple and pear that lifts the spices slightly, but it’s the bold warmth that dominates early on. As it settles, the fragrance starts to reveal its signature character - tobacco and patchouli step forward, giving the scent a deep, smoky richness that feels dense and luxurious. The tobacco note here is dark and slightly sweet rather than dry, making it feel warm and addictive rather than harsh. In the dry down, vanilla, amber and sandalwood smooth everything out, turning the scent into a creamy, spicy tobacco cloud that lingers for hours. Performance is beast - easily 10–12+ hours on my skin with projection that stays strong for several hours, so this is definitely one to spray carefully. It leaves a thick, sweet-spicy trail that people will notice from across the room. Overall rating: 7.1/10 This is bold & powerful and best suited to cooler weather or evening wear when you want something that feels rich, confident and impossible to ignore. Would I purchase a full bottle? Well if I am honest, it’s a little too polarising for my taste so I couldn’t see me wearing it much if I did so unlikely. It’s a nice scent, especially after it dries down but just a bit too strong for me.
