Iβve been thinking a lot about how to position this feature for clients who already have an existing website. The more I explore it, the more I feel this isnβt just a βwebsiteβ or even just a GEO blog. I went through a lot of subdomain ideas like: β’ local β’ nearme β’ overview β’ biolink β¦but I keep coming back to: profile.mydomain.com Mainly because itβs powered by the Google Business Profile and already contains almost everything someone needs to make a decision at-a-glance as a business identity profile for: β’ reviews β’ locality β’ services β’ opening hours β’ updates β’ GEO content β’ photos β’ trust signals β’ discoverability The more I think about it, the more it feels less like a traditional website and more like a: βDynamic Local Presence Profile Hubβ with all its fast indexing and SEO ranking ability. Almost like a LinkedIn Profile for local businesses. LinkedIn profiles are structured professional identity layers for: β’ reputation β’ credibility β’ content β’ updates β’ discoverability β’ social proof β’ search visibility β¦and this system is starting to feel very similar, but for local businesses. Which is powerful! Especially because the business actually owns it on their own domain, instead of renting visibility inside another platform. It almost becomes like a supercharged business card that: β’ gets found in Google β’ strengthens AI/search discoverability β’ continuously updates from GBP β’ feels part of the business ecosystem β’ supports the existing main website instead of replacing it So I was wondering: Does anyone else use it this way alongside an existing website instead of only under the main www subdomain? And would it make sense to add the: 1. Review link 2. QR code 3. Opt-in form directly into the Profile Hub experience as well and is it possible?
