Thanks for asking Dane. It's funny how the Dao finds you. I wasn't looking for it at all, but here I am. I had been looking for some form of exercise as I had not been able to due to a pretty bad knee and some pinched nerves in my lower back. Enter Tai Chi, which I found some online paid sites that I really like. But as I was investigating Tai Chi, I kept hearing about the mental side of it, and I found Dao. I just basically started in late Dec/Jan reading some books and finding a few Facebook group pages to learn what I could. The more I researched, the more I found myself already living several of the ideals that align with Dao. It has helped me tremendously as I am going through several changes in my life. I get to have my knee replaced this fall, so in preparation for that, I got on a glp-1 and changed my diet and all but illuminated alcohol from my life, which was a huge deal as most of my life revolved around alcohol. Hope that wasn't over sharing, I just can't tell half a story. I'm always looking for new places to learn, and am only probably a half hour from Fallbrook, so at some point I will make it up there. But I see Jim's posts on Facebook quite a bit so that is what specifically brought me here. I look forward to the journey
