Friday Grind
Morning workout and run at the hotel! Work at the office, detour to another hotel, head to the airport. Conference calls while navigating rental car return, airport check in, etc. Delayed flight. Delayed bag. But glad to be home!

Goat things! 👀 the six pack
Evening Cabin Drives
I just wanted to share with you all that my heart is full! My daughter and wife have been going on drives in the evening at the cabin with me. You know the type, windows down, country music low and eyes peeled looking for any wildlife you can see... My rendition of heaven looks like that. As we have been spending that time together I have been reminded that there is so much beauty in the journey. No matter how difficult the day is, or the trial, eventually you come out on the other side. What you realize when you look back too, is that there truly was beauty in the journey. Take some time today to slow down, relax a little and look for the beauty around!

Evening Cabin Drives
As a Man Thinketh - James Allen
My invitation to each of you this week is to take some time to really concentrate on something you love, spend time with yourself thinking about it and feel the peace that comes from it. This week I really want to focus on sharing concepts and ideas that help when building the Mental Edge (Pillar 2). This is an interesting topic because you could discuss so many topics and in many different tones. Anything from David Goggins to Yang Mun (master of Qi balance & inner harmony). Today, I want to discuss the topic of concentration. In the book As a man Thinketh, it is defined as: "The bringing of the mind to a center and keeping it there, is vitally necessary to the accomplishment of any task. It is the father of thoroughness and the mother of excellence. Last November, I was able to visit Beijing China and see so many beautiful cultural things. One thing that amazed me while exploring China was how intentional the people were. I rarely saw anyone on their phone, they were outside, with other people and active. They were intentionally spending time with themselves and with others.

The Art of Listening - Simon Sinek Simon Sinek has been an excellent resource for me in my career and is someone I look up to a lot. He talks a lot about how to be an effective leader. One thing he says that I love is that being a leader is something that can be learned. Sometimes we think that you have to be naturally gifted to be a true leader and thats simply not true. One of the keys to being a great leader is learning how to listen to others! Watch this quick 5 min video and share what you think below!

Sometimes, you just got to get something in! It was a very cold rainy run this morning 🥶
Push it to the limit!
Hey guys! Figured it’s time to make my first post here! Had a pretty killer hike yesterday, first one I’ve been on in about a year so I was not expecting to finish but we pushed through and made it happen! Over 6 miles, 2100 feet of elevation gain, and finished it off by jogging the last 2 miles! 24k steps for the day as well!

Great work! That is what we love to see! I did a quick run this morning at the cabin Bear Lake! It was raining outside and the elevation is no joke!
