Bye Bye Wilderness
I'm sooo glad to see the end of a six year winter (drought) in my life. This wilderness season has been extremely challenging to survive, not to mention attempting to lead others while navigating. Over the course of these six years, I've seen some loved ones take their final breath, I've consoled true friends who have lost their children/spouses/parents, I've opened and closed companies (and opened more companies), I've watched two of my adult children pull completely away from my side of their family because they don't have language for their trauma yet, I've held extremely tough conversations with my wife, I've moved my family across the country and back just in time for her to care for her dying mother (losing both parents within five years), I’ve become a caregiver to my beautiful wife (which neither of us could've ever seen coming), I've cut ties with deadweight ppl who refused to grow, I've also walked away from some amazing ppl because I was bleeding and they didn't have the bandwidth to triage my wounds. All while being human and dealing with my perception of other ppl's perception of me through it all. The most prideful and insecure edges of me no longer exist. The persistent applied pressure of sandpaper has produced a smooth surface. And at the same time, it has also produced a sweet manifestation of humility, a clarity of self-awareness, self-confidence, and a clearer understanding of the macro as it pertains to my teeny tiny micro. Out of nowhere, it got better; like inexplicably better. Attitude has a great deal to do with how one measures "better". But I can assuredly say that I am walking in a season of favor, goodness, and mercy. Big things to celebrate are just ahead. To anyone currently in a wilderness or entering into a wilderness season, I offer this free advice for anyone a few steps behind me who will listen. First, own it (the brutal reality of how much it sucks to be there, own it!). Second, humble yourself, don't lose yourself. Figure out the difference if you are unclear. Third, know that it is not designed to kill you, but to bring out the best version of you (not the you you've pretended to be). Fourth, rock and be uniquely you. That's my secret sauce because nobody can beat me at being me. And lastly, the most challenging thing about waiting is the WEIGHT you're required to balance without having any answers. Faith is proven by the steps you do or don't take without a definitive answer before you move. I'm pulling for you! Peace

James 1:2-4 (2) Count it all joy my brother when you meet trials of various kinds, (3) For you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. (4) And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete lacking in nothing. When I read what you wrote this is the scripture that came to mind. You are an awesome man of God. I am proud to have been able to bear witness to the transformation of who you once were to the man that you have become. The strength and endurance in the midsts of all the challenges, trials and tribulations. Have brought you on this incredible journey on the road to becoming all that God has created you to become. It has not been an easy road to travel. But I am glad to know that you have gotten to a place in your journey where the road has gotten to be a much smoother ride. I am blessed, inspired and motivated to hear your journey and how God is completing His perfect work with in you. God Bless you brother continue to travel the road of righteousness. Continue to grow and become all that God has purposed you to become. Continue to produce the fruit that God has for you to produce so that all who can see it can eat of it. Focus on the work (Produce) and always remember that the fruit is for others and not for the tree. I love you bro God bless you and your family I am with you always praying in the Spirit for all of you. 🙏🏽💪🏾🙌🏾 You are an inspiration Marco
Peace and Blessings Brothers
I pray that every man is blessed and moving through whatever wilderness you may be going through. Take joy in the fact that as long as you are moving you will come out. Seasons change and troubles don’t last always. Be strong and courageous. Part of healing is learning to forgive yourself. We are often told to show each other grace and forgiveness. But we also owe ourselves grace and forgiveness. We change what we have the power to to change and let God handle the rest. 💪🏾

Me: mindset Do not be conformed to this world but be ye Transformed by the renewing of your mind. We need Transformation doing things differently. We can’t know who we are if we don’t know who God is. It is in his image and likeness we were created in. There lies our identity. This is the beginning the start of the journey. Who knows the creation better than the Creator? We continue to try and fix ourselves but yet we didn’t create ourselves. So then how can we fix ourselves. We must look higher than ourselves. To A God who is reaching out his hand in hopes that man would take it. Seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you. Do not let this book of the Law depart from your mouth but meditate on it day and night then you will be prosperous and successful. Taste the Lord and see that he is good. Try him for yourself experience for yourself. Walk in his will and in his way and your path will be clear. Speak the word of God in and over your lives, circumstances and situations and the results will be evident. If we can’t commit to that we will always fall consistency and persistence is key. I dare you to Speak the word and walk out his word. We are willing to try anything and everything but that. Make a decision and stand on it!
The Power of Man
I remember a pastor once said it is hard being a man but somebody has to be one. God created us to be men knowing that we could handle all that comes with it. But some how we have been infiltrated by the world and its ways. Causing us to fall below God’s original standard of who He created us to be. We are brothers not born from the same mother. But we were born to lead to connect with one another to help one another. To grow and to flourish and in order to do that we must examine ourselves and be real about who and what we see. Change is up to us no excuses no exceptions we are men created in the image and likeness of God.
In order to heal we must go to the root of the pain
Many men walk around hurting and we mask it in various ways. Work, food, smiles and anger just to name a few. The world says be strong as men we can’t show any signs of weakness. And while we may appear to be strong on the outside. We are hurting and dying on the inside. First we need to be honest about the pain and hurt that we feel. Then we need to go to the root of the pain and deal with it. Through prayer discussions and admitting that there is an issue and that you want to fix it instead of numbing the pain. This is a perfect platform to do that. We are brothers who understand because we to have hurts and pains struggles and hardships. So who better to give support to each other. Be open Be honest stand up and know the fight is ours as much as it is yours. Am I my brothers keeper? Yes I am!

I am who God created me to be, a man. I believe that for things to get back into their proper place it will take us as men to step up and step out.
