It keeps hounding me. This could be a book. You slowly work away at it, but you don't quite know how you're going to pull it all together. Eventually, the pieces start to come together and you have a manuscript. And then you realize...now you have to figure out how to turn a manuscript into an actual book. Do you go through a publishing house? Do you self-publish? I decided, yes, I'm going to self-publish. Then came another whole learning curve. In Canada, I discovered I could set up my own publishing company and get my own ISBNs for free. Marvelous! Then I had to figure out formatting. What size should the book be? What is the cover going to look like? How do you get the cover dimensions right? How do you create it in Canva? What the heck is a bleed? Then there's pricing, categories, proofs, uploading, revisions...and all those little things you didn't even know you needed to know to bring a book to fruition. One step at a time. One problem at a time. One new thing learned at a time. And finally, all that creative drive, all that persistence, and all the work of bringing an idea into physical form came together. I created a book. Flow Reclaimed is published. Oh my God, it feels AWESOME to finally have this one finished. Especially because apparently my creative brain isn't done with me yet. I have another nine book ideas pushing to be creatively brought into being. 😂 But for today? I'm going to enjoy this one. An idea became a book. And that feels pretty damn good.

It was so exciting to hit the submit button for publishing on KDP Amazon tonight!! Can't wait to hold my real copy in my hands soon.
