Seeing people hit the rising in categories on Substack - so exciting. @Alli Gatlin has been on it and just last night @Janay Trevillion hit #47 rising in Travel - it's one of those things that is very fleeting and feels special when you can catch it. I know there are others in here who have been rising in a categories too (please share!!). One of the reasons I talk about adding the "smaller" less competitive category first is that it's easier to get traction in the smaller category than the more competitive one though that might be the one that more accurately describes what you do. How did we reach the end of July? It's rodeo weekend round here - which means more fireworks - feels like we have fireworks and parades in this town every weekend in July - next month will be the fair and then life will settle down for fall. (my very favorite season). Yesterday's Mastermind was all about notes and it was so great to have so many of you join live! Highlights? 📝 Post Notes daily. (Three per day is the sweet spot, but one consistently is far better than none. Use the scheduler so you never miss a day.) 💬 Spend at least as much time commenting as posting. Meaningful conversations are what make Notes work. 🌎 Don't stay inside our community. Support each other, then intentionally branch out into conversations happening across Substack. ❤️ Leave comments that add something to the discussion rather than simply saying "Great post!" The goal is to become memorable. 🤝 Build relationships before trying to build subscribers. Subscribers are the byproduct of genuine connection. 🔄 Return to older Notes and continue conversations. A new comment can bring an older Note back into circulation. 📚 Engage with articles and Chats, not just Notes. Every interaction increases your visibility. 🎯 Think of Notes as networking, not broadcasting. I'm up early today to welcome the full moon - Thanks @Tracy Nicholas for your cool ritual tool you created over in your community Awaken Your Magic - I know different people have different ideas about magic - however in my world view magic exists around all day, every day and though we can ascribe it to a deity, many deities or no deities it doesn't mitigate its impact in our lives. To me, magic is simply things that happen that we aren't yet able to explain scientifically. But just because we can't explain it doesn't mean we can't enjoy it and be grateful for it.
