Cardiac risk factors and HRT
Hi! I'm glad this community was created and continues to grow. I am 49 and am hopeful to get my hormones on a better track. 10 yrs ago I had terrible issues with bleeding that lead to me having a myoectomy and starting a traditional BC that I took continuously up until this past Sept, when a new Dr. saw that I have strong familial cardiac risk factors, my cholesterol was slightly elevated and I have a cardiac calcium score of 66.... so she took me off of that pill and put me on "heather' which is progesterone only. She is no longer with the practice .... so I've been waiting to get in with another physician. During that transitional time of meds/hormones, I was in a relatively new job with a company that I put in a LOT of work to get it up and off the ground. My schedule went nuts and I rarely had 2 days off in a row. I am and have always been a very fit person and by the time Feb got here, I think that's when my estrogen took a nose dive bc I have had TERRIBLE musculoskeletal symptoms so much that I was taking so many NSAIDs I've had to back off and use Voltaran several times a day which has been helping. Anyone else out there who has cardiac risk factors and navigating HRT?

Thyroid 11 Adrenal/Cortisol 15 Gut 9 Insulin 7 Sex 12 I recently reached Burnout at work and have been off for 1 month, and will stay off from work 1-2 more months. I have family cardiac risk factors and my Dr. took me off a traditional BC pill and switched me to 'Heather'. That was last Sept. My workload drastically ramped up after that, with minimal full days off until this calendar year. I started taking full weekends off, still didn't feel fully recovered. By Late feb I started having terrible musculoskeletal pain with no known mechanism of injury.... and I am a very fit and active person and Im equating it to the drop in estrogen
