I'll pull the data and tell you the single highest-leverage change your numbers are pointing to right now. Not general feedback. The one thing. 👇

You all are unreal. 15,000 🛶
I had to stop and sit with that for a minute. When we pushed this canoe off the bank for the first time, I never imagined this many of you would come along for the ride. Thank you — for every view, every comment, every one of you who stuck around through the slow water and the swamp noise. This channel is a labor of love, and you're the reason we keep paddling into places the map forgets. We've got a whole new river coming your way — the Withlacoochee. A broken motor five miles in, a night alone on a tiny island, and a catch-clean-cook you won't want to miss. The journey's just getting started. Stay rugged. 🔥 https://www.youtube.com/@BlackwaterOutdoorJourneys — Rodney & Tina

Congratulations.
The algorithm doesn't stop watching when your video ends.
Most creators obsess over CTR and AVD. Almost nobody talks about what happens after the video ends — and it's costing them distribution every single week. YouTube tracks session continuation. When someone finishes your video and immediately watches another YouTube video — especially one from your channel — that's a signal. It tells the algorithm your content is worth investing in because viewers don't leave YouTube after watching you. They stay. When someone finishes your video and closes the app — that's also a signal. A negative one. The end screen is your last 20 seconds. Most creators waste it with a logo animation or a generic "subscribe" ask. What it should be is a direct handoff — one specific video, one reason to click it right now, delivered before the viewer's attention moves elsewhere. "If you watched this far you'll want to see this next" is more powerful than "don't forget to like and subscribe." Session continuation is the third signal most creators never think about. CTR gets them there. AVD keeps them. Session continuation tells the algorithm whether you're worth the next viewer. What does your end screen look like right now? Drop it below. 👇

Heading into the wild for a few days.
Four days. Three nights. The Withlacoochee to the Suwannee — cell service is going to be what it is out there. If I'm quiet for a few days that's why. To the community — this is your moment. The conversations we've been having all week about library audits, title formulas, CTR, retention, consistency — keep them going. You don't need me to answer every question. You've been doing the work. You know the framework. Drop your channel. Help each other. Share what's working. Call out what isn't. That's what this community is for — not just when I'm here. I'll be back with new footage, new data, and probably a few gator stories. Stay rugged. 🛶
