Working on some videos and asked for some help with a few quote type ideas. This was part of the conversation.

Every trip I bring home a piece of driftwood, something with a shape that caught my eye on the bank. Carve most of them into something for the house. Never really talk about it on camera. It's just the quiet part of this that isn't for anybody but me. What's the version of that for you? The thing you do that has nothing to do with growing anything, you just do it because you like it?

My mother is 83 years old and she has driven out to river landings to pick me and Tina up after some of our roughest multi-day trips. She doesn't say much about it, she just shows up. Some support doesn't need to be loud to matter. Who shows up for you quietly, without making it a thing?

Fifty men work for me and I have no problem running that crew. Put me in front of a room to speak and I still get nervous every time, no matter how many times I've done it. I do it anyway because some things are worth being uncomfortable for. What's something you're still not comfortable doing, that you do anyway because it matters?
