So many of you guys when we talk privately tell me the same story about feeling like you are capable of way more than you are, like you could go really far but you dont have that singular goal to work towards that feels fulfilling. I think a lot of people share that lack of purpose right now and Im wondering if anyone wants to share what they think is worth focusing on for people who dont have that obvious passion to pour their effort into. For me its the big three 1. Family and community 2. One intimate relationship 3. Meaningful work Those three things are essentially the only things that all satisfying lives tend to have, but they can also be traps if you dont balance them properly or you try to hard to get them instead of building yourself to the point that they come to you naturally.

I think a lot of people think they lack purpose when really they lack connection and experiences. I used to think I needed some massive mission before I could start living, but lately I’ve realized life isn’t just one singular goal. For me I think it’s becoming 1. People – close friends, family, community, meeting new people 2. Love – one deep relationship where you can fully be yourself 3. Growth – building meaningful work and becoming someone you're proud of I used to think money or success was the main thing, but now I think money is more of an amplifier. If your life is empty, more money just gives you a bigger empty life. If your life is full of connection and meaning, money lets you experience more of it. I also think people spend too long trying to find purpose before they start living. A lot of purpose seems to come from participating in life rather than thinking about it. This is where I struggled for years constantly in my own head and not living in the present it’s honestly life changing when you see it there’s no going back.
Work and meaning
I started making content because I was having a bit of a crisis with my job, I dont like doing it but it pays well. I want to replace it with something I care about which is why I started making content. How do you guys think about the balance between work and life, because the older I get the more I think your work is life, and enjoying what you do is more important than money

Honestly man, I seriously agree — you need to love what you do. I see so many old heads that have lived most of their lives miserable, and they try to push that onto younger people, like that’s just how life is. Like no, that’s how YOUR life is, mate. That you have to slave away your life for a man-made currency. People having a ego about who works the most hours will always make me laugh though. I’m struggling a lot with this currently. I saved up a lot of money from working average jobs over the last few years, so I’m in a position now where I can take some time to figure out what I want. I’ve gone all in on high ticket sales — I paid $4,000 for a mentorship and I’ve put 2 months into it so far, and I haven’t received a single cent back. So I’m hoping it’s a case of ā€œtrust the process,ā€ but I’ll be honest, I feel so lost right RN. This probably doesn’t really answer your question, but this topic specifically hits deep with my life at the moment so wanted to vent my piece.
Thoughts on Diet After Episode 4
Just finished the newest podcast episode — really enjoyed it. You brushed over your diet briefly, but I’d actually be interested to see what an average day of eating looks like for you. Mainly just to compare it to my own and maybe make a few adjustments. I know it’s a little off-topic from the main content, but it does tie in slightly about getting back to that solid baseline physically and mentally. I noticed you train a lot and mentioned eating around a kg of meat a day. I’m nowhere near that, but I do eat a minimum of 6 eggs a day plus a lot of Skyr yogurt. Just wondering if you’ve noticed any real difference between getting most protein from dairy/eggs vs mostly meat, or if there’s a reason you lean so heavily into meat specifically. Thought it could be an interesting discussion because I’m sure others here are probably curious too if I was.
Weekly Call
I'm going to start the weekly calls now, we'll do 30 mins for the first one, tommorow at 11am. An opportunity to ask questions, meet other people on the same journey as you, and connect. I hope anyone even remotely interested will feel free to join and say hello. No pressure!
