Why We Spend Wednesday
What has to be in place for you to move from a "I'll consider it" to a "absolutely yes!" mindset? Is it good customer service? Free shipping? A sizable discount? A generous return policy? Recommendations from others? Something else?? What makes spending your hard earned money a no-brainer?

Fun fact: in my day job I'm a people leader within our Customer Service department! So that is very important to me, but recommendations from others comes in at a close second. Preferably personal recommendations.

@Rachael S NO! 😂 I guess I am an extroverted introvert. I love people but am sometimes overwhelmed by them. Being a server and bartender definitely helped my people skills 🥳

Realizing I'm in danger of sounding greedy, I think if my husband and I each made $112 we would be fine. Like Linda said though, I have big aspirations for life and would prefer $300k for my income.

@Rachael S thank you so much I will definitely take you up on that!

Scheduled and paid for a cruise vacation for my 20-year anniversary in February. This is in addition to the family trip we are taking this Thursday! Instead of saying we will have time away “when we have more money”, I’m deliberately prioritizing what is actually important to me and my family: travel, family time, spouse time, relationships, relaxing, and FUN!

@Rachael S thank you! I want to stop feeling so grim about money. It’s simply a tool to use for needs and wants.

Paying bills as they are due, rather than pushing them out of my mind until I worriedly start wondering if any are late.

@Rachael S It's a mix of both. Most are automated except for the utilities which I like to get in the mail. Give me my paper! 😂

I sometimes put a bunch of items in my Amazon cart late at night, but I don’t let myself click checkout until I’ve reevaluated under the light of day. I’ve saved myself from bad decisions several times!
