Flash Friday Challenge
This weekend (72 hours), see how much money you can save. Let us know the result in the comments! (You can post each day with your savings, or wait until Monday to share the final number.)

You bring up a good point, @Kurt Mell - and that's that even 'small' decisions can lead to big payoffs! I mean, if someone just handed you $240 in one amount to spend, that's not insubstantial. And yet, a lot of times it's easy to overlook the simple monthly savings. It does add up though!!

So my actual savings for this weekend challenge came out to just the amount of money I saved on my salads ($3.92). But my potential savings was HUGE. What do I mean by that? Any time I was tempted to spend money on eating out, buying a course, a game, etc. - anything I didn't need and resisted the temptation and didn't spend the money. One thing I like to do in these moments is actually move that potential savings into real savings, so I get the dopamine hit of 'spending' the money but without buyer's remorse. And later if I change my mind and decide I really need the thing, I can always move it back again.
Motivating Monday
What is a win you have had recently, big or small (doesn't have to be financial)?

@Kurt Mell Good for you! I think impulsivity is its own struggle, but there is a lot in what you say of overthinking things through too. I seem to swing between both! (And ironically enough, the bigger the decision, the more likely I am to make an impulsive decision and then smaller it is, the more I am likely to overthink it.) So I need to work on both of those things. 🙃
Quick Question
So you may have noticed there are leaderboards here on Skool. You get points and increase in levels for engaging in the community and as you get likes on your comments. I was thinking of creating some incentives for people to move up the ranks. What would make it worth to you? Free budget coaching? A course on a particular topic? (keep in mind I'm not a financial advisor, and can't advise on investments or anything like that) A collection of worksheets or printables? An AI music song customized to a topic of your choice? (I'm quite good at that!) Something else?? Give me your ideas!! I need your input! :)

@Kurt Mell I like your ideas! Thanks for sharing!!
Have you tried this app??
I JUST heard of Mindspend, thanks to Insanely Cool Tools' newsletter, and it looks like the sort of app I wish I knew how to build! 😂 Basically you enter in your spending and then immediately track your emotions around your purchase while it's fresh in your mind. I am REALLY excited about this one!! Try it out and let me know what you think too! https://mindspend.app/
