Split or three under?
Now that I'm learning to shoot right handed. I'm finding it awkward and uncomfortable shoot split finger. For whatever reason it's easier for me to shoot three under. I've heard a lot of cons about shooting three under versus split finger. But I've also heard some pros. How many of you here shoot three under.?

Dad taught me to shoot split finger when I was 11 and got my first bow. I'm 55 now never could get used to 3 under, so just stuck with what I know.
Foodplots!
Anyone else like to utilize food plots as part of their deer hunting strategy ?

I have a pathetic excuse of a clover plot in the middle of the meadow on our 15 acres. Grass is taking it over right now, so it needs some attention, but the deer are still using it. I need to tend to it and plant a couple of more as well.

Sticking with Tradition🦅
Why did you choose stickbow hunting over compound bows? Share your personal journey with us!

Why did I choose a stickbow over a compound? Because I shoot a compound like sh*t. Lol! Seriously, the compound just didn't feel natural, and I never could get used to shooting with pins. Plus, it feels heavy and awkward compared to a graceful longbow. My dad was a trad bow only guy from the time he was 13 until he did at 70. He never once shot a compound or a crossbow. He bought me a compound when I was 17 just to get me into bowhunting. By the time I was in my early or mid 20's though, I made the switch to traditional with a lot of help and encouragement from him. When he died, I had Dick and Yote Robertson build me a longbow and put a pinch of dad's ashes into the build, just under the clear fiberglass. It turned out beautiful and "dad" and I went to Alaska the year after I got the bow.
Quivers: back, side/hip, on bow
What's everyone's favorite quiver set up? Specifically looking at hunting set ups, but all are welcome. Personally I use to prefer a back quiver, but in the thick woods it would get caught up as I ducked under limbs and brush. I've switched to a limb quiver and really love the one from Creek Walker. I also use the hip quivers for target shooting, but don't feel they'd work well in the field.

Great Northern bow quivers are my go-to but have owned both Selways and Thunderhorns, and they were great as well. Might put a Creekwalker on my new recurve though.
