Who Has Launched A Podcast To Grow Skool Community?
Hi Skool Pals, has anyone successfully used a podcast as a way of driving attention and traffic into a free Skool group? Myself and my co-creator @Alex Chisnall have a community called Pod School which is helping people to launch and scale podcasts (we both own agencies that do this for clients and we have got 400 successful launches between us under our belts for global clients). We beta-tested Skool in the summer and have got 170 members for the test content - the feedback we constantly got was that people wanted more advice and coaching on how to actually launch a show, so we have created an entire course which will be going live as Pod School Pro in a few weeks, but we are also going to be putting out a brand new show called 'How To Start, Grow and Monetise Your Podcast' to drive awareness and traffic to the free community too. So, who here uses (or used) a podcast for their community? And, if so, did you drive traffic to the free community or your paid one? Happy Friday y'all.

@Danny Holtschke not a bad way to see things to be fair for sure. I think podcasting is going to become the most valuable form of independent media within the next 5 years and I think it is going to go from being a niche to mainstream.

Exploring Profitable YouTube Niches: Insights from Andrew Kirby and Ed
https://youtu.be/Af8oBxi462U?si=xzUYgOMFgbmk6IEY I wanted to share this insightful interview with @AndrewKirby and Ed, where they discuss the most promising niches to explore on YouTube. If you want to skip ahead to 18:26. But I would watch the full Interview and you wonโ€™t regret it.ย #Podcast Skool.

What's Most Important To Podcasters...?
Hi All, Genuine question here as I am looking to 'crowd source' answers from people who have already made the decision to make a podcast... What is THE MOST IMPORTANT information subject that would help you on your journey to taking your content to the next level? The reason I ask is because - after a lot of questioning our own communities - @Alex Chisnall and I have come to the realisation that one of the biggest challenges that podcasters have is 'HOW TO MONETISE'. Would you agree? Of course, there is a bunch of stuff around editing, recording, guests, production, marketing, syndication etc. that show creators need to know - and pay attention to - but, from the experience we have had in launching over 400 shows for clients between us, we have realised that one of the reasons that people either don't start (or don't continue) is due to not making any dosh from their pod ๐Ÿค‘ Without making money we don't think that people always take it seriously, without it making money it feels like an ego-centric vanity project, without it making money it is hard to justify the time, effort and energy... What do you think? Are we bang on the money (hope you like the pun there!) or are we off the mark?
