Archery Targets
I went to Cabella's Sporting Goods store and picked up my first targets so I can set up a small practice area in my backyard.

Fitness is an issue
I noticed how sore my upper back got next day after I first shot only about 12 arrows. I moved my dumbbells and their rack to my office so I can be sure to get some reps in daily. I waited until Rogue Fitness had a big sale and I ordered them, got the rack from Titan Fitness for a decent deal. The weights do not fit perfectly on the rack but it works. Will incorporate the shoulder press and rows you mentioned to strengthen this pretty weak area of my body. Nothing like a really good gym, but I learned from COVID Lockdown to start to invest in building up a home gym I can use.

Hoyt Bow pictures
Casey wanted some photos of my Hoyt bow, so here are a few. I picked this one out because of the light weight, it felt good when I picked it up. I want to go to Cabella's this week and get a few targets and set up a practice area in the back yard. Open to suggestions on setting up a backyard practice area!

No it is not yet sighted in, I need to find the tapes they gave me and have them help me at 20 yards out since I want to get decent at that yardage first. My first group was going low and right a bit. But I think I may have been using the trigger release wrong as pointed out on your video where you had it pushed to the upper most part so your whole finger was able to help. I like the fastener ratchet tightener that yours has. I will upgrade soon, but want to get some targets and some more arrows made.
First time on the site
Hi guys, I am James. I got my bow back around November when my brother in law from Oklahoma came into town and he is an avid bow hunter so I asked him to go with me to get a high quality bow. We went to the big box store- Cabella/ Bass Pro Shop store and he didn't like anything. We went to a few more places and he kept asking the guys where the best pro shop was. We drove about 30 miles and big difference! I got to pick from several top manufactures, go it fitted and tuned. I spent way more than I first though I would. But all fine things in life are this way, I figure this one should serve me for a decade. Now I need some targets and a bunch of practice!

@Casey Zander just posted a few
Recurve bows
Is anyone here also shooting a recurve bow? Or are you strictly focused on compound bow?
