In continuing our month of Rage, in honor of I AM JANE DOE, this Wednesday’s Soul Voice Activation is going somewhere a little deeper. We’ve already been talking about the anger that rises when women begin comparing notes. The things we tolerated. The things we minimized. The things we were told not to talk about. But what happens after the event? What happens when the experience is over, but the fear, shame, distrust, or belief it created is still living inside us? That’s what we’re exploring this week. Sometimes the wound closes, but the scar still changes the way we see. Maybe someone betrayed you and years later you still struggle to trust. Maybe nobody protected you and you learned to depend only on yourself. Maybe a boundary was crossed and you began believing your needs didn’t matter. Maybe you were blamed for something someone else did, and you carried the shame long after the event itself was over. This Wednesday in Soul Voice Activation: The Woman at the Fire, we’re going to ask: What did this experience teach me to believe? How is that belief still affecting the way I love, trust, speak, choose, or protect myself? And then: What does my Soul know is actually true? This isn’t about staying in the rage. It’s about using the rage to see clearly. Wrath helps us see what was wrong. Soul Voice helps us see what is true. Love helps us choose what comes next.
