Hey guys, I just finished my second novel (none published yet). Where are we finding beta readers? I’ve posted in Facebook groups but I’m getting flooded with scammers. I need someone other than my husband and friends because they all say it’s perfect. lol no it isn’t. I don’t even know what I’m doing so it can’t be perfect 😂 Anyway.. anyone on here interested in beta reading a suspenseful, interactive, romance novel? It’s 50k words. It’s interactive in the sense that the reader gets to make two different decisions that impact the characters lives, resulting in three possibly different outcomes. (It’ll be a flip novel). Think The Butterfly Effect meets The Boys of Tommen. Trigger warnings: 🍇, domestic assault, and rug use (I’m not sure if anything gets censored on here) Anyway.. if you’ve made it this far and you aren’t able or aren’t interested in beta reading, please please let me know where to seek beta readers 😭 thanks guys! So just curious, what members here are going to be affected by the teacher strike? and if you are how is that going to affect your work?

I applied with roughly 2k other applicants for an indie romance author scholarship and I was one of 9 winners selected! The funds rewarded are to go towards publishing my 3rd book Loving Daisy. I’m so excited to have an actual budget and do so much more for this release. 🥳🥳🥳

I’ve been incredibly busy lately with my full-time job and other commitments, but I’ve still been checking in almost daily. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been much activity here for quite some time. This community was created for you — a space to connect, communicate, and share ideas. I’ve provided the platform and covered the fees, but ultimately, it’s up to the members to make it thrive. I shouldn’t have to hold anyone’s hand for participation to happen. While it may only be a few dollars a month, continuing to pay for an inactive group doesn’t make sense. Because of that, I’ve decided to cancel the subscription, and the community will close once the current billing cycle ends. That said, I’m more than happy to reinstate it if there’s genuine interest and active involvement moving forward. Please let me know what you’d like to see, discuss, or have added to make it more valuable to you — I’m open to ideas and ready to support a group that wants to engage.
