that is great!! and I am excited for you as well and that is perfect about the quest ! —any version of the quest can work though for these sessions. The Q3 is definitely the latest one out and has the newest technology! I’ll put a list together of apps that I not only recommend to our patients at The Drake Center, but also those that I’ve tested early with their developers— Those apps and those developers really truly understand the mind and body connection that can happen while using this technology— I’ll put my list together and post it soon.! big hugs to your new kind of wellness journey!
šŸ“š New Resource for Our Program + Classroom Sessions (with monthly outlines + VR options)
Hi everyone šŸ¤ I’m excited to share that my books are now available on Amazon and I’ll be weaving them into our program and classroom sessions as a supportive companion to what we’re already doing together. These books were created as gentle tools for grounding, reflection, and creative connection—something you can return to between sessions when you want: - a mindful reset - a steadying breath - a creative spark - or a simple way to come back to the present moment How our sessions will be structured: Each session will follow a monthly outline of content, so you’ll always know the theme, the focus, and what we’re practicing together that month. Think: steady structure + room for creativity. Yes, there will be VR activities too ✨ We’ll include a few optional VR-based experiences as part of our practices—but you do not need a headset to benefit from this work. Most practices can be done anywhere: breathwork, journaling/reflection, simple creative prompts, and grounding exercises. If you do have a headset, you’ll have a fun ā€œbonus layerā€ to explore. How we’ll use the books inside our program: ✨ Short passages as monthly/weekly prompts šŸŒ€ Reflection questions to deepen integration šŸŽØ Creative practices (journaling, art prompts, embodied exercises) 🧠 Nervous-system friendly grounding before/after our work together 🄽 Optional VR extensions (no headset required) For this month: If you choose to grab a copy, bring one line or passage that stood out to you into our next session. We’ll use it as a starting point for reflection and a simple practice. šŸ“Œ Here’s the first book we’ll be using: How I Found the Present Moment in Another Reality: A Story of Healing, Presence, and Becoming Whole https://a.co/d/jlMioGy The guide/ integration book is listed here : Finding the Present Moment: A Reflection & Integration Workbook for Mind, Body & Creative Spirit https://a.co/d/6rZfeT9 If you already have it—comment ā€œI’m inā€ and I’ll tell you exactly what to read before our next class. If you don’t, no worries—you can still fully participate. šŸ’›

@Kim Hansen welcome friend! šŸ¦‹ I absolutely love TRIPP—such a beautiful mind-body experience. And yes, Supernatural is amazing and definitely one of my favorites. I actually lost nearly 100 pounds with Supernatural early on in my VR journey back in 2020. I think you’ll really enjoy this interview I did with Coach Doc on my TV show Immersive Wellness—it dives into the mind, body, and heart of the Supernatural experience. ✨ Watch here: https://youtu.be/XUZZ02oGAVc?si=xGgp3vQdfgOoo5Rg So glad you’re here šŸ’« Ps i’ll introduce you to more games and apps for mind and body connection and wellness

@Kim Hansen @Oluwapelumi Akinyode 😊 Great question! Think of Skool as a community space similar to a Facebook group—but a little more intentional and organized. In addition to conversations, it also includes videos, classes, interviews, and shared resources, all in one place. In this community, I host and plan to host discussions, meet-ups, and conversations with developers and experts in immersive wellness and VR. I work with immersive therapies (VR) every day in my mental health medical practice, and I also have a YouTube channel and a locally filmed TV show where I explore how immersive spaces support the mind, body, and creative flow. This particular Skool community is all about understanding how VR works on your mind, body, and creativity—and discovering new ways to use your headset beyond just workouts or meditation apps. I’m so glad you’re here and exploring with us šŸ’›

Hello Everyone!!
Hello everyone, my name is Oluwapelumi. I work closely with online communities to help them grow in a way that is sustainable, engaging, and aligned with their purpose. Over the past few years, I’ve supported community owners by improving participation, strengthening communication, and using digital marketing systems such as email strategy, onboarding flows, and engagement structure to turn passive members into active contributors. What I focus on most is clarity. When members know why they are here, how to participate, and what value they gain, communities naturally grow stronger and more consistent. My approach is practical, intentional, and centered on what actually works long term, not hype. I joined this community to contribute thoughtfully, learn from others, and support healthy growth where possible. If you are a community owner or builder and would like to exchange ideas or get a second perspective on your community, feel free to send me a DM. I’m always open to a good conversation. Looking forward to connecting and growing together.
