When you were a kid, what did you need MOST from adults?
Did you get it? If not, how does that shape how you show up now as a parent, teacher, or coach? We’re not masters. Just adults learning to communicate better, together.

Late to the discussion, but emotional safety was not a topic growing up--my parents were older, and did things differently. As a special education teacher, I find I'm often focused on providing my students that safety--and sometimes I am just hoping I get it right! Learning how to regulate my own emotions is helpful.
