Real-time Audio Transcription—Looking for Proven Setups
I’m building live transcription for a mobile AI coach and aiming for sub-300 ms latency. If you’ve shipped this, what worked best for you? - Capture → Stream: AVAudioEngine (iOS) / Oboe (Android) + VAD? - Transport: WebRTC vs WebSocket; Opus vs raw PCM; ideal chunk size for partials? - Latency control: jitter buffers, endpointing, punctuation without lag. - Accuracy extras: word-timestamps, diarization, noise suppression/AGC/AEC. - Resilience: packet loss, reconnect, FEC; buffering on shaky networks. - Privacy & cost: on-device vs cloud redaction; pricing gotchas. Short code snippets, architectures, or repo links would be amazing—thanks!

n8n pros—how do you hit <10s per run?
Chasing consistent sub-10s workflows. Quick tips on safe parallelism, bulk requests/keep-alive, swapping many nodes for one Function, caching tokens/lookups, and execution-data/DB tweaks. Short snippets welcome!

@Titus Blair Hello! Thank you! I basically want to make my workflow run faster. it runs audio data through transcription, emotion detection, ai response to audio and then generate audio output. but runs for 1 minute. taking too long to look like your talking to an AI.
Node update (and n8n cache ?)
In n8n, I have a problem with a workflow: some node updates are made, but when it runs, it's an old version of the node that's running. It's an active workflow... I tried disabling it while making the change, but that didn't make any difference. I restarted n8n (under Docker), but that didn't change anything either. Do you have any suggestions on what to do to make sure the nodes are properly updated?

Seen this—usually one of these fixes it: - Save → Deactivate → Activate, and make sure callers use /webhook/ (not /webhook-test/). - Confirm you’re editing the same Workflow ID that’s running (open an execution’s Details). - Unpin node data; pinned data can look like “old runs.” - If using Execute Workflow, reselect the target (it may point to an old copy). - Docker/Queue mode: ensure only one instance is live; restart all workers; if custom nodes changed, rebuild the image (--no-cache). - Last resort: duplicate the workflow, activate the clone, repoint callers.

🚀New Video: I Built 3 Lead Gen AI Agents Using ONLY My Words (beginner tutorial)
Yes, you’re seeing that right, this is not an n8n video. I’ve had Lindy on my radar for a while now, and with the recent release of Lindy 3.0, I think they’re really starting to do some interesting things. Their agent builder is super impressive, and they’ve even added a computer use feature that’s worth checking out. In this video, I built three lead generation agents, one to find leads, one to enrich them, and one to write personalized outreach, all using just my words (no variables, no prompting, no coding). If you want to see me explore more advanced Lindy use cases, let me know in the comments. My goal with this community and my YouTube channel is to showcase the best no-code tools out there, and Lindy might just be joining that list.
