📖 Scripture & Reflection – Today’s Heart Check
New day. New Week. Back to the Grind. Whether heading off to work, working from home, retired and have tasks or projects to complete, let's start the week off on the right foot. God’s Word is alive — it’s not just ink on paper; it’s the very breath of God speaking directly into our lives (Hebrews 4:12). Yet sometimes, we speed through a verse, nod our head, and move on with our day without really letting it sink in. Today, let’s pause. Let’s not just read Scripture — let’s meditate on it, chew on it, and allow it to take root. Because one verse — just one — can be the breakthrough that changes your thinking, strengthens your faith, and reminds you of who God is. ✨ Here’s your challenge: 1. Pick a verse you came across today (or lately). 2. Reflect on it. What word or phrase stood out to you? Why do you think God highlighted that in your heart? 3. Share it here. Don’t overthink it — your reflection might be the exact encouragement someone else needs today. 💬 Discussion prompts to help you dive deeper: - Did this verse bring comfort, conviction, or clarity? - How might you live differently today if you actually applied this verse to your life? - Have you ever seen this verse come alive in your own story before? - Remember: Scripture isn’t just meant to be stored in our minds — it’s meant to be planted in our hearts and lived out in our actions. 🌱 Drop your verse and reflection below. Let’s see how God is speaking uniquely to each of us today!

In studying Deuteronomy Chapter 11, I'm reminded how important it is to remain faithful to God in the light of all that Je has brought us through. And that it is so important to TELL of the miracles and blessings the Lord has given, so that our children and those around can bw encouraged in their own walk with The Lord.
🌟 Sunday Church Takeaway – Beyond the Walls
The songs end, the sermon concludes, and the doors close… but the message? It should keep echoing in our hearts all week long. 💡 Think of it this way: - Worship is meant to be more than music — it’s the way we live Monday through Saturday. - Sermons aren’t just lessons — they’re invitations to action. - Community isn’t just shaking hands in the lobby — it’s how we walk with each other outside the walls. “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only…” – James 1:22 💬 Today’s Prompt: What part of today’s service will you carry with you into the week ahead? - A lyric that won’t leave your mind? - A Scripture that spoke directly to your situation? - A challenge from the sermon that you’re ready to put into action? 👇 Share your Sunday takeaway below, and let’s encourage one another to move from just hearing the Word… to living it. ✨ Bonus: Try writing your takeaway somewhere you’ll see it all week (sticky note, journal, or phone lock screen) — let’s practice carrying the message beyond Sunday.

In my favorite song, "I was made for more" by Bethel Music, there's a line that says "I've been called by name, born and raised back to life again." Called by name!! He knows my name!!! He called me out of the death of sin into grace!! Woo!! That's good stuff! 🙌
🔥 Today’s Big Question: Are We Loving God… or Just Loving What He Gives Us?
It’s easy to praise God when life feels good — when prayers are answered, blessings are flowing, and doors are opening. But here’s the hard question: If nothing changed in your circumstances — if the blessings stopped, the prayers seemed unanswered, and life got harder — would you still love Him the same? Sometimes, without realizing it, we slip into loving God for what He does for us, instead of loving Him for who He is. But real faith says: “Even if the fig tree does not blossom… yet I will rejoice in the Lord.” (Habakkuk 3:17-18) 💬 Your turn: - How do you keep your love for God strong in seasons where He feels silent? - Have you ever realized your relationship with Him was based more on blessings than on devotion? We can all use a heart check. God’s desire isn’t just to bless us… it’s to be with us. And that’s worth more than anything He could ever give. ❤️

As the disciples said to Jesus, " where would we go Lord? For YOU HOLD THE WORDS OF LIFE. " we have no other hope than our hope and faith in Jesus 🙌
