Itās easy to praise God when life feels good ā when prayers are answered, blessings are flowing, and doors are opening. But hereās the hard question: If nothing changed in your circumstances ā if the blessings stopped, the prayers seemed unanswered, and life got harder ā would you still love Him the same?
Sometimes, without realizing it, we slip into loving God for what He does for us, instead of loving Him for who He is. But real faith says:
āEven if the fig tree does not blossom⦠yet I will rejoice in the Lord.ā (Habakkuk 3:17-18)
š¬ Your turn:
- How do you keep your love for God strong in seasons where He feels silent?
- Have you ever realized your relationship with Him was based more on blessings than on devotion?
We can all use a heart check. Godās desire isnāt just to bless us⦠itās to be with us. And thatās worth more than anything He could ever give. ā¤ļø
