I’m from Minnesota, I’ve been playing the flute almost 15 years (since I was 10) and I’m classically trained, but I found a love for jazz & contemporary music in college. I’ve been surrounded by world music, growing up in Minneapolis with a large immigrant population- in the schools, they would educate us on world music, but I’ve never gotten to do something related to my flute so I’m excited to keep checking out the modules in the class
