Weekly plan 26 July - 1 August
Time to sit down and get an idea of what a successful next 7 days would look like. To help feel more in control of your life and like every day you are working towards something larger, a weekly plan is a vital tool. If you are unsure about how to do so, consult the guide i made as well as an exemplar plan that I made (links below) https://www.skool.com/bloom-learning-3643/classroom/39cbaba3?md=0d60a79e2b554a99893bf1f35fc17d8e https://www.skool.com/bloom-learning-3643/weekly-plan-20-27-july?p=020c0a79 No need to overthink this, just simply create a list of the tasks you would like to have ticked off or habits you would have liked to have completed in 7 days time. Make it as specific as possible so that each day when completing your daily plan for the following day, you are able to consult your weekly plan and decide on the tasks you want to tick off that day. From the perspective of maximising your learning progression, make sure you select 1-2 hours of "Learning tasks" (time spent learning new strategies) and 5-10 hours of "Practice tasks" (time spent practicing recently learned strategies). Your ultimate goal is to have some metric to compare against at the end of the week to determine if your week was a success.

Day 19 For this week to be successful, I want to aim to do at least 3 timed past paper (any subject), as it will allow me to find my weaknesses = allows me to fix gaps, do kolbs cycle daily and also be almost done with module a essay and also consistently doing english short questions. I also want to ensure I finished my anki q decks, as it will allow me to do more trial papers. And really need to wake up at 6 am. Bio: Finish half of content for mod 5 = includes encoding and retrieving Earth: Want to start encoding mod 8 and do trial papers Inv: Want retrieve, encode mod 8 and intereleave via trial papers Business: Encode content for HR and do exam questions for those
Daily Check-In x Weekly Wrap up - Saturday 25 July
I realised it didn't make much sense doing both a daily wrap up and a weekly wrap up all on a saturday, so from here on I'll be combining the posts for saturday / sunday so you only have to respond to one each day to maintain your streak. I just want everyone to take 10 minutes to truly reflect on the week gone by. Don't just start typing immediately, maybe get up and pace around for a bit to help you deeply think "How did this week truly go, and was there anything else I could have realistically done to make it better?" It would be easy to just say "got some work done, but was a bit distracted so want to work on that for next week" but this isn't training our metacognition skills which we all know is what will allow us to really quickly find the root cause of our issues. A good reflection here will make the weekly plan so much easier tomorrow (feel free to complete that right off the back if you get into a flow state and have a lot of good epiphanies, just remember to post it tmr so i can have a gander)

Day 18 Over this week, I reckon I did a good job in encoding content and retrieving it = actually really is helpful in retaining long-term information, like I remember first learning content for mod 5 and I wouldn't realise this till the exam or approaching exam questions, but I would forget half the process but ever since implementing the retrival process it really did help remember. However, some days I doomscrolled alot and I also could not wake up 6am to study. Now that I think about it I lost so much time worth of studying and at the end of today it was really bad, had something personal happen but i will just try continue and learn But this week was pretty good because I was able to finally finish common mod essay. Next week: I must finish memorising my mod a essay, I can feel the pressure building up abit, esp when i have other mods needed to memorise and for my science subjects I'm pretty confident in terms of content but still encoding mod 8 and previous mods and next week im going to try doing timed past paper questions, im going to try to do 1 everyday and also have to skip like questions I havent learnt yet and I also still need to review mistakes from anki q decks and I also still applying kolbs cycle, as it is very helpful for reflection. Plus need to start making calender again.

Drop a comment below giving a marginal gain that you've had from today and a mini goal that you have for tomorrow. Copy and paste this formula below: Day [X] 🔥 Today: [one short sentence] Tomorrow: [one small, specific goal] If you're new, add the streak next to day, the win that you have had in 'today', and the goal in 'tomorrow'. Even if today wasn't great, remember a marginal gain doesn't have to be some big achievement; even recognising a weakness that you can work on tomorrow will get you closer to your goal. Remember, always progress over perfection
