Let’s talk about Constipation! 💩
Yep. We’re going there. Because if you’re taking a GLP-1, your bathroom habits may suddenly become a group project. 😂 Constipation is when your bowel movements become less frequent, hard, dry, or difficult to pass. GLP-1s slow down digestion—and when food moves more slowly through your system, everything else can move more slowly too. Add less food, not enough fiber, or too little water, and your intestines may decide to take an extended vacation. 🏝️ The biggest help for me? MAGNESIUM! Certain forms of magnesium—especially magnesium citrate—help pull water into the intestines, which can soften stool and help get things moving. I take 1-2 capsules of magnesium every night to help keep myself regular. If my system hasn’t “worked” for two days, I take four capsules of my specific magnesium product, along with TWO LARGE CUPS of water. The water is VERY important! 💦 HERE'S LINKS TO MY FAVORITE MAGNESIUM PRODUCTS: Mag07 - Oxy-Tone - Magnesium Citrate Then, let’s just say…magic usually happens the next morning, and my stomach thanks me. ✨😂 Please remember: Magnesium products come in different forms and strengths, so four capsules of mine may not equal four of yours. Follow the label—especially if you have kidney problems or take medications. And... PLEASE don’t wait too long to address constipation! Now tell me: What helps keep things moving for you? 💩

I’ve been consciously putting more protein into my diet. I’m def more full during the day. I’m still not hitting the amount I need every day but I’m closer!
🥜 PEANUT BUTTER CHIA PUDDING
24g/protein & 11g/fiber per serving. Looking for an easy breakfast or snack that gives you a ton of protein AND fiber? This one is delicious, filling and takes just a few minutes to prepare! Makes 2 servings INGREDIENTS: • 4 tablespoons chia seeds • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt • ⅔ cup Fairlife protein milk • 2–3 tablespoons creamy natural peanut butter • 1–2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract • Pinch of salt DIRECTIONS: 1. Add all the ingredients to a bowl or container. 2. Stir everything together really well. 3. Let it sit for about 5 minutes, then stir again to break up any chia seed clumps. 4. Divide it between two containers. 5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours—or prepare it before bed and enjoy it the next morning! Add a little extra protein milk before eating if you prefer a thinner consistency. You can also top it with sliced bananas, berries or a sprinkle of chopped nuts. Just remember that toppings will change the nutrition totals.

I’m 52 years old and still trying to figure out the food noise in my head. Looking forward to finding new ways to manage.
