2026: Back to the Fundamentals of YouTube Growth
Happy New Year, everyone 🎉 Going into 2026, YouTube growth feels less about chasing trends and more about mastering the fundamentals clarity, structure, consistency, and audience trust. Whether you’re just starting or refining an existing channel, the channels that will win this year are the ones built with intention and repeatable systems. Looking forward to learning, exchanging ideas, and growing together inside the Academy. Wishing everyone focus and meaningful progress in 2026 🚀

@Brendan Dowd Welcome, SimpleDeuce! 🙌 5 subs is the start of everything consistency + the right format will get you moving fast. If you share your channel link + what niche/content you’re doing, I can give you a few specific suggestions on what to improve first (titles, hooks, and what to post next) so you start getting traction.

@Brendan Dowd Nice start, SimpleDeuce 🙌Being at 5 subs is actually the best stage to fix things early before habits get locked in. A couple of quick observations that can help you get traction faster: - Picking one clear direction/niche will help YouTube understand who to show your videos to - Stronger titles + first 5–7 seconds will matter more than anything right now - Simple consistency beats trying many formats at once Early growth is mostly about structure, not effort. If you want, you can tell me what direction you’re thinking about and I can share what usually works best at this stage.
New Here, Looking Forward to the Journey
Hey everyone 👋 Glad to be here and excited to be part of this community. I’ve recently been spending more time learning, creating, and figuring things out on YouTube, and it’s been a mix of excitement, confusion, and small wins along the way. Looking forward to connecting with like-minded creators, learning from the shared experiences here, and contributing where I can as we all keep moving forward.

@Evans Brook That mix of excitement, confusion, and small wins is honestly part of the process — you’re right where you should be. A lot of clarity on YouTube comes once the direction, format, and goals are defined early. If you ever want a second opinion on what you’re building or where to focus next, happy to share some practical insights from experience. Looking forward to learning and growing together

@Moa Via I respect the honesty most people feel this at some point in automation. The jump from “some income” to consistent 10K/month usually isn’t about working harder, but fixing niche selection, structure, and scaling systems. If you’re open to it, happy to talk through: - what niche you’re in, - what’s working vs what’s limiting growth, - and how to move from small wins to something more scalable, Collaboration works best when there’s a clear plan.
Introduction
Hello my name is Ty, I am from Pennsylvania, and I want to learn how to create, edit, and make memorable videos for my YouTube channel.

@Ty Toure Great goal learning how to create and edit memorable videos is a huge step toward real growth on YouTube. A lot of progress comes from understanding story, pacing, and structure, not just editing tools. If you’d like, feel free to share what type of content you’re planning, and I can offer a few practical tips to help you get started the right way.
