For the people who workout.
How was it to workout in front of other people? I for some reason extremely lowered my social anxiety and now I can pretty calmly workout in public, but I do get a lot of energy. Inside I used to do 10 pull-ups in one row, outside - where there is a lot of people walking - I did 13, I don’t know if it’s morning adrenaline or something but can feel some anxiety but feels like the healthy adrenaline beats it. Don’t remember the first times how I felt working out but we all start from somewhere 🧐.
What was the biggest fear/interaction that you overcome?
Mine was today, singing solo 😅, for some reason I didn't really care about the people but about myself, how I don't remember the words, legs have been shaking since that point, even the city mayor comes because the mayor is my teacher's brother. For some reason the hand sweating had stopped after some time. What was your biggest/scariest interaction so far?

Do You Have A "Third-Place"
Hey Friends :) I read an article recently that talked about the loneliness epidemic (I've studied this for years as well), and it reminded me about the concept of a "third place" A third place is effectively a location outside our home (one) and work (two) where we can go and interact with people. This is a place where we can walk in and say stuff like, "Hey Johnny, how are you, bro?" or "I'll have the usual." Most of us have lost this concept of a third place, and the effects show. 60% of people now don't even attend social gatherings (crazy to me) I wanted to write about it because I've recently found that the places I do approaches in my hometown has become my "third-place", and let me tell you it brings me joy and satisfaction everyday to see these people. Do you have a third-place? If not, what can you do to make one?

My place would be the gym, but it doesn't help my loneliness as efficiently as other places would. ( I expect )

@Louis Fabulous I'm really lost right now since school started, I do go to trivia on tuesdays but they happen once a week, trivias really washes my head out. It's been really hard for me since start of september.
Idk if this counts but it’s something!
Been getting back into Piano this year, been going to the gym for almost 2 years at this point. Basically, having hobbies and goals really does help with being social. A lot easier to do something or talk to someone when you yourself have something to do or talk about. On that note, it also requires being willing to go out. You’re not gonna meet the people you want to meet behind a computer screen. I had to go to an open mic night with my friends to do this. Rock on, ladies and gents.
Idk if this counts but it’s something!

Thats amazing, I got back into piano also, this year, but can't combine both hands which is annoying😅 and yes, working out and playing the piano has also helped my social skills.
