䷄ #5: Waiting (xū)
Hexagram 5 often shows up when we feel ready, motivated, and willing to move and yet... life doesn’t quite follow our timing. That can bring a little restlessness or worry, especially when we’ve already done so much inner or outer preparation. This hexagram reminds me of a boat - that is ready, clean, the crew is on board, everything is in place, but truth is it cannot really go anywhere until the wind blows. So the feelings that envelop me with this one are around the invitation to relax into the pause, to nourish ourselves, and to trust that movement will come when conditions align. How does that resonate for you this week? ⛵

Totaly resonating with that. At the age of 44 im truly learning how to enjoy the wait for things to change. Thank you for that!
Help is in the way
Hi all, I would like to share my latest opening around my situation. Before im casting my opening i usualy write about the situation from the bottom of my heart. Usually that starts to move things, and brings some inner input to the situation, so i can warmly recommend about that habit. So basically im exhausted from my position at work. Im self employed and have a eastern medicine clinic for the last 20 years. During the treatments i dont feel that, even the opposite, im shining. But outside the clinic i have the feeling of "holding" my connections with my patients. Ive decreased my working days in the clinic for two days a week, so i still can finance my family in a basic form. I want to move forward, but i cant see what is holding me. And this is what i asked the i ching. "What is still holding me that i cant see?" Ive recieved hexagram 47 with the 2nd line changing to future hexagram no.45 I feel its pretty accurate, but i would like to understand more. Especially the meaning of the 2nd line, or any other info you would like to share. TIA

Hex. #4 vibes - The art of being a learner
#Hexagram 4 - 蒙 Youthful Folly speaks so clearly about learning, guidance, and the humility of being on a path rather than already knowing. It made me curious about where each of us stands right now, so I invite you to vote in the poll below. And if you feel like sharing, let us know in the comments what you’re learning, who might be guiding you, or what you’re passing on these days.

Mentoring others, which brings myself to my situation ive shared here before. I had some brightening about my situation using a new reading of the i-ching that I'd like to get more prespective about. I dont know if this is acceptable or not, and if yes, is this the right place, or just write about it in the main page of the group? Thanks.

@Marine B. y. Ha 😄 Basicly its must use the point of view of cyclical philosophy, (which is the branch of chinese medicine i practice), and applicate it threw whatever form it will be, i still cant see what it is. It could be teaching the philosophy to other people for daily use and understanding of "how life works" and it could be something in the value investing (warren buffett's style) world, but the structure will be around that philosophy.

It circles between daoism with "what seems / wants to become now?" And Confucianism with "whats the proper thing right now?" Avobe all we have the supreme law that says everything's changing all the time and also knowing what's happening right now - is time to sproute, to bloom, to let go, or to become hidden? These questions are part of my midlife standing point, and im practicing of how to not knowing and still be ok and relaxed with it, which is sometimes a bit perplexing. 🙃 I hope i made myself more clear, or maybe not ? 🤭
Hexagram #3: Difficulty at the beginning
Hexagram 3 is now up in the Classroom, and honestly… it feels very close to home for me. I’ve always had this thing where I fall in love very fast with new ideas 😅A project, a book, a random topic, and suddenly I’m ready to change my life, learn a new language, move countries, become a musician, you name it. The beginning is exciting!! Full of energy!! And then… reality kicks in. Hexagram 3 talks exactly about that moment. When the spark is real, but the start is messy, uncomfortable, and way less glamorous than the fantasy. You buy the guitar… but you don’t play like a rockstar. You sound like a beginner and oh man is that depressing to go through! What I love about this hexagram is that it says: "it's normal"! Difficulty at the beginning is actually part of the process. If something matters, it needs attention, patience, persistence… and yeah, a bit of discipline too. Building this community feels very much like that. Not perfect, not smooth, but full of very real connections that I cherish already, and a space worth staying with. 💬 So I’m curious: What in your life right now deserves a little more patience and persistence, even if it doesn’t feel easy yet? You’ll find the full Hexagram 3 lesson now in the Classroom → Hexagram of the Week. Would love to hear what this brings up for you 🌿

In the last months we have some minor issues with our little son development that made me feel really uncomfortable. 2 weeks ago I've consulted the i ching and received hexagram no.3 which comfort me, as you wrote, its ok its hard in the beginning, it suppose to be like that. Since then i feel better and even 4 days ago we saw a small improvement! 😊
