Should you give away free coaching?
If you're struggling to land coaching clients… And you think offering free coaching first might be the answer? Then keep reading :-) You see, after offering a free coaching program for over a year… I was shocked by the data. Because out of the thousands of people who had access, only a TINY percentage did the work and finished the training. At first, I blamed myself. Maybe I wasn't clear enough? Maybe I needed to follow up more? But then I noticed a pattern... Because when we charged $5,000 for the same program, nearly ALL of them completed the training. You see… This is what free coaching does to people's psychology. When people get something for free, they don't value it. They don't use it. And most importantly - they don't believe in themselves. Think about it... How can someone believe in their ability to charge $1,500+ for coaching when they weren't even willing to invest in their own development? It creates this weird paradox: They want it free because it feels "safer"... But because it's free, they don't take action... Because they don't take action, they don't get results... And because they don't get results, they struggle to charge premium rates. It's a vicious cycle. And the worst part? It damages their self-belief. And makes them question if they're really cut out for this. When in reality, they just needed some skin in the game. Some commitment. Some accountability. Some proof they believe in themselves. I've seen this play out hundreds of times now. Free coaching might seem kind to offer… but it often does more harm than good. Both to your business AND to your clients' results. So, out of interest… Have you ever given away free coaching? What happened to those clients? Would love to hear your experience.

Alex Hormozi presents a starter strategy. If you were just starting up and want testimonials, don’t say free say exclusive offer and only do it for the first five people that respond to your 100 per day reach outs. You must be transparent, and let them know that you have experience, however, are looking to do this full-time now and would like their feedback and their testimonial is required in exchange for the exclusive offer. You repeat this process with the next five, start charging at 80% off next 60% off next 40% off so on and so forth. Now you have the testimonials, have implemented the feedback to improve your expertise, and charge full price, even increase your price.
The Four Laws of Behavior Change:
To make habits stick, Clear outlines four fundamental principles: - Cue: Make it obvious. (Create clear signals for the habits you want to form.) - Craving: Make it attractive. (Associate your habit with a positive reward.) - Response: Make it easy. (Reduce friction so the habit is simple and easy to do.) - Reward: Make it satisfying. (Give yourself something to look forward to after completing the habit.)

Therapist calls me a fraud and a grifter. Here's my response…
Here's what happened: I have an ad running on Facebook, to promote our free Expert Coach certification and community. Yes, it's free... And yet some people still can't help getting triggered. Even though they’re therapists who should know better. Now... I don't always respond to trolls on Facebook... But this one was too good to ignore! Take a look: THERAPIST: Coaching is mostly BS. In my city, they're all coaching one another in a circle because nobody is buying it any more. ME: Because that's what you see, does it make it true? *** this really triggered our lovely therapist *** THERAPIST: OMG forty years of experience as a professional Change Agent, therapist, I know nothing. hahahahaha. Listen, you coaches, you really think you can change people by sitting them down, giving them advice and happy clappy claptrap. I've seen it over and over. How many clients do you think I've had down the decades who have spent a fortune with you charlatans and got nothing lasting from it? Dozens. You don't understand psychology, you don't understand process, you don't understand mental health, you don't understand the unconscious, you don't understand trauma, nothing. It's all, hey, you can be amazing if you just listen to me telling you how. Go away. You are all massive frauds. If you really want to 'help' people, man up, train to be an actual therapist. Coaching is literally 'made up.' You're all little arrogant mini gurus, it's a grift. And yes, it infuriates me. If your ad shows up on my timeline I'm going to tell you the truth. That's what actual therapists deal in you know. The Truth. ME: what did they teach in your therapist training about judgement? I've been coaching for nearly 30 years and I have played a part in thousands of transformations. But in your view I don't understand? And I'm a massive fraud? I'm a grifter? How many clients do you think I've had down the decades who have spent a fortune with therapists and got nothing lasting from it? Does that mean therapy doesn't work?

Nicely handed! For the record, watching your sessions has helped me realize avoiding my mom isn’t enlightenment, it’s avoidance. I went to see her the other day & realized I am now more powerful than before. She did not trigger me regardless of who she is. So thanks a bunch, because truthfully if she were to pass, I’m sure I would have felt some guilt. On another note, the therapist getting infuriated then interacting with the ads for coaches on her wall is quite hilarious and ironic😂🤣 Her engagement means they’ll continue to put that in her feed. That’s how the algorithm works.
Why I started watching p*rn in the morning
During yesterday's Expert Coach Accelerator call we were talking about morning routines. One of the members mentioned how she meditates for 40 minutes before bed AND again when she wakes up. I had to stop her right there. Here's why: Your morning energy is PRECIOUS. And while everyone bangs on about meditation... Starting your day in ultra-calm mode might not serve you… Especially as a coach who needs ENERGY to serve clients… YOU are your first client, after all. In fact... I recently did a 7-day experiment to prove how morning choices have a massive impact on the rest of your day. Fair warning: This got dark real quick... Because instead of my usual routine, I: * Scrolled my phone for an hour * Watched p*rn * Ate pure garbage * Skipped the gym * Talked shit to myself all day I couldn't even make it through the full week. By day 3, I felt so terrible I had to stop. (The things I do for science... ) But it proved something critical: Small morning choices CREATE your day. That's why instead of meditation, I prefer: * Breathwork (it energizes vs calms) * Cold plunge/shower (2 mins = massive ROI) * Movement But that’s just me. And the truth is… The "perfect" routine is the one that fits YOUR life. Got kids? A commute? Your routine will look different than someone with 3 hours free each morning. The key is finding what gives YOU energy. What pushes YOU out of your comfort zone. What serves YOUR goals. Your morning routine doesn't need to be perfect. It just needs to serve your energy. Because your current (or future) clients deserve your best. What's your morning routine?

Agreed! 🔥 I view my Big Ass Calendar (literally its name) & my Kanban Board to view my tasks and progress. Then straight to the cold plunge as it’s by far the best energizer I’ve tried! I do it daily! Recently I did it while 38F degrees in my garage. I lasted 4 minutes in 52F degree water. Started off the new year with a record! 💪
