Real Estate Is a Relationship Business (Here’s Why That Matters)
The best deals I’ve ever seen didn’t come from listings…They came from relationships. Strong relationships with lenders, inspectors, contractors, and clients change everything—from pricing to peace of mind. My goal isn’t just to close deals. It’s to build long-term relationships where people trust me to give real advice—even when it means not buying or selling yet. If you’re here to learn, grow, and win the right way, you’re in the right place 🤝

@Soma Richy I’ve always believed and I think it’s true, that people do business with people. That’s means that the more time we spend developing and nurturing relationships, the better chance we have to build long-term business relationships.

@Mrc Azaziaah Nice to meet you. I’ve had the blessing of running a business before, I used to own a coffee shop, which is a very relationship driven type of business, and I love connecting with people so really loved it. I think my comment applies to anyone in business especially if it involves heavily interacting with people, and that is “try to figure out things you enjoy doing, and build relationships within that” that way it doesn’t feel like a chore. So for introverts I would say to try and do more of that. For example, if you’re someone who loves gaming, then seek out gaming communities, whether in-person or online, and try to build from there.

Hi @Erwin Whitehead nice to meet you. Among my plans for this year is gaining more flexibility, especially financially. Real estate is a vehicle I’ve chosen this year to bring this to life and realize it.

@George Axeman Amen to that. It also helps when you're in the company of those working towards similar goals.

Introduction
Happy New Year community. I hope you're all doing well. Just wanted to introduce myself and meet all of you. I'm new to the real estate investing world but have owned and been a small business owner for a while. I've always wanted to transition to real estate knowing that it's one of the best ways to create the flexibility personally and financially that I want for myself and my family. I'm originally from Uganda, my wife Laura and I and our kiddos live in Minnesota, we love to travel and consider ourselves global citizens. Excited to be here and build with all of you.

@Polaris Kolas Glad to be here. I've lived in the U.S. for about 20 years now and what an amazing experience it's been so far. My wife is actually from Minnesota. Cultural exchange is probably one of the best ways to truly experience things not familiar to you, I love it. I'm a huge cultural exchange person. I'm really looking forward to connecting to others in real estate, not just to learn, but to grow and uplift others. I found London to be interesting, but really some of the best places to visit have been here in the U.S. Actually including Chicago, great place to visit.
