A New Trick - Cutting Small Angles on the Table Saw
As time goes on, woodworkers come up with more and more jigs and sleds, allowing more and more things to be done on the Table Saw. Here's an interesting one I did recently, a small angle sled, which allowed me to cut the five-degree angles necessary for this artistic little decoration. I'm sure there are more "real uses" for it; but it was both fun and challenging making this. Check out this video, where I show you how I made the sled and then how I used it to make this starburst.

Nice Rich, I'll have to copy that if you don't mind.

My wife had Surgery on her right shoulder, for any of you who have had sholder surgery, you know it's hard to sleep flat on a bed. I bought her a recliner to sleep in. Well I realized that she needed a end table. Yay me, I get to build something! Nothing fancy, but she loves it and it's a big help to her. Happy wife, happy husband. Also on a happy note: I'm a Grandpaw. His nane is Oliver. Happy Father's day everyone.

Good build and a lucky Grandpaw. I'm still waiting for mine. 😲
Turning a wasted corner in my basement into something useful
This project was easier said than done. Although I am a certified cabinet maker, I must confess that interior building is completely different. First of all the floor was far from level and secondly, the walls nor corners were straight or square (bear in mind that my house was initially built in 1870, partly rebuilt in 1960 and finally completely, with exception of the basement, stripped and renovated by myself and my father in law in 1995). It took me two weeks to build and not very happy on how it turned out. But after all it is just a corner of the basement. I don't have to see it every day 😅.

Projects from Teak wood
A number of years ago my oldest daughter brought a home with some pretty ugly Teak countertops and asked if I wanted the wood and of course I didn’t say no.A couple of years ago I saw an article in a woodworking magazine for this garden bench, I thought what a great idea for some of the Teak. In the pictures you can see not only the bench, but a shower seat that I made for another daughter and a shower shelf that I made for one my granddaughters. Sometimes all I get is a picture of something that someone would like me to build and I have to figure out how to make it. I will post on how I accomplish this in another post.
